Any advice on where u get foams that fit this car and are decent quality but not stupid expensive? I just started testing and can already tell the stock tires aren't going to cut it. I have the carbon fiber tires on order but not sure they'll arrive in time for qualifying. I only hit 65mph so far on 3s with a 7700kv surpass motor, the big pinion and stock big spur, just went thru a 2hr ordeal trying to get the stock spur gear out, only to find the big pinion is 1 tooth too small to allow the stock mount to mesh with the smallest spur included. Like why would they do this?? Very frustrated so far with the decisions rlaarlo made when putting this car together. Easy gear changes should be of utmost importance when designing a speed car, like come on rlaarlo? Red loctite soaked all over the center driveshafts and set screws. Blue locktite is all that's needed people! They really dropped the ball on this and on an otherwise very nice car ruins the experience. I think most people will give up on this platform unfortunately. They need a re-release to fix these issues.
Its some added work that you need to put in but after that its a very solid platform. Comvert to Mod1 gears and you can also use the motor mount from the Hobao for easier gear changes. Got some guys already hitting 150s. Just like any RC that you are trying to push beyond its limits, you will need to modify it properly. The foams I use are Contact foams 30mm. need to remove the rotor and caliper assembly and replace it with 7mm wheel hubs so it doesnt rub on the top arms. I'm very sorry! We are making every effort to remedy it. If you have not received the product, please reply with the order number and I will provide you with real-time information feedback! We have all the accessories ready for the largest speed feast in 2023, and we have extended the competition time. We hope this is a victory to drive RC speed, but there are indeed many things we haven't done in place. We still hope you can continue to support us! The journey of RC is very far, and we will continue to work hard!
@AK-917messenger It's imperative that you communicate better, even if it's on your website with a blog post, so you are not responding to each person individually. STOP making unrealistic promises and silence when you obviously drop the ball because that damages your integrity. You have an amazing product, but no one will care if you lack the customer service aspect and neglect your fans.
@@GregSupe We are already adding team members! AK917 has received global attention this time! We are indeed not fully prepared! Thank you very much for your support and advice! We are resuming all work! Gratitude!
