This is one of those tools that you don't really appreciate the importance of until you need it. Great tutorial and even better timing lol, I've spent the last couple of days trying to change the region of my save.
If it is on 1 console, the saves from 1 version ( EUR) work on another version (USA) . I tried myself on different games, i just copy/paste the saves and they work.

On my 5.05 PS4, I was playing the EUR version of Days gone, I copied the saves with PS4 save mounter, deinstalled the game and installed the USA version, different CUSA and continued to play with the saves from the previous CUSA.
Would be nice if my ps4 didnt completely shutdown everytime the app tries to close... Tried to get this working on 5 different games... None work so far..
omg that whole extract and import into a new save file for another region was just what i needed, thanks i had trouble loading my p5 royal file onto another gamedump, even when it was same cusa region just another download site, but the trick fixed it, that was so weird
!!!!! If your copied saves are always corrupted, this is what helped me !!!!! 1.Take a legitimate save game, then in Apollo hit "Export Keystone" 2.On any custom save, after its imported to the hard drive hit "Import Keystone"

This finally helped me migrate my Far Cry 6 save from the European version on PS4 to my PS5 USA version by exporting data with Apollo then importing into PS4 USA retail copy and then using the System USB transfer to the PS5. 30 Hours not wasted.

@@rinsakurai3252 That is an encrypted save. When you copy from hdd direct to usb. Apollo decrypt the saves ( should have ****.sav file inside folder. When a save is encrypted you cannot resign the save from the user (owner), that's why Apollo is useful - converts hdd save ( encrypted) to decrypted, you resign it and copy it back to hdd ( from decrypted to encrypted). If someday Apollo manages to deal with encrypted USB files to HDD, higher fw saves to lower and use save wizard database codes this will be one of the most powerful homebrew app in the PS4 scene.
Before, I cant record ps4 gameplay on a jailbroken unit because it requires me to sign in to psn account, but now i have discovered this apollo save tool and i go to tools and activate offline account then luckily i was able to record now on 1080p ps4 pro.. thanks!

i think its because you probably got a pc save and just resigned/rename without conerting it, ps4 uses low level bytes 41 character range (low hex) while on pc its values are full string...
for folk that got a glitch that made the ingame text disappear after getting your new save on god of war (dont know if it works on other games) try to find and change text language ingame

I managed to fix it. Just do the final method where he exports a save from a version of the game to another. Make a save on new version, Export decrypted from the corrupted, rename to same as the new version save and import

Been having trouble with retroarch and with ps2-fpkg when a game requires an emulator not included with the program (cant find them anywhere online). Would be cool to have an updated video on those topics.
I love the apollo app because it makes everything so easy. No need to ftp or decrypting. Just copy your save using apollo on a usb then replace it with someone's 100% save file then resign it back using apollo again and poof the save file loads perfectly on my ps4.
Everything works but after rebooting the console, when you try opening the same game again it shows the save file has been backed up and corrupted. Almost all the games I tried

First of all great video! I can understand why you'd put 'Save Wizard' in your SEO to reach the algorithm but I don't think the constant mention of 'using this Jb option vs buying a $60 program' is apt since they're 2 totally different options. It's good you're offering and showing how this can be used as an alternative free option for resigning, but at the end of the day, Jailbreaking your console is a one and done process. Most users still want to have online access which isn't possible on a standard JB console which really doenst benefit the average PS user. For $60 you pay once and you have the software forever, no JB required. This is year 5 of value ($12 per year) and still going strong, plus it's way easier & faster using SW. Just wanted to drop my 2 cents, huge fan of the channel, keep up the great work! - X
There's pros and cons to both. Most people who have jb ps4s also have another ps4 on latest firmware and just transfer saves between consoles. This also allows you to make mods for things save wizard won't release cheats for. Also re region support for all games instead of just ones with advanced mode, etc.

Can we let's say take a game save from RDR 2 that is on patch 1.32 and make it work on a 1.00 version of the game so I can edit it via RDR 2 Save editor? Guys!, I'm going to share to you a top secret thing that i discovered by accident just now! @MODDED WARFARE please pin this comment So, let's say for an example you want to transfer your progress from the PS4 version of GOW to the PS5 one, right? (I'm giving this specific example because this is what i did) So by default if you try to transfer the save DATA from the PS4 (activated account obviously) to an USB and plug it into the PS5 (*with the same original PSN id*) it will not work, when you boot the game right from the start, a top right pop-up notification will be vissible saying that save file got corrupted. (atleast that was in my case) So, i used the same method as in this video, but applied it to my PS5. 1. Create a dummy save on your PS5 by starting a brand new game (this will be your original save that WILL WORK with the PS5) 2. Copy the dummy save to an USB 3. On the PS4 launch APOLLO app and repeat the steps from 16:04 till 16:35 with the save that you want to transfer to the PS5 4. Plug the USB (with the dummy save from the PS5) to the PS4 and launch APOLLO app again 5. In the apollo app go to USB SAVES and just copy it to the HDD 6. Go to HDD SAVES and choose the save file that you just copied from the USB and click on "Import decrypted save files" option 7. Exit the app, then by default copy the save file from the options menu that you just modified on the PS4 to the USB 8. Plug the USB to the PS5 and replace the dummy save with the modified one. After that you are done! In general what you did is you copied the contents from the PS4 save to the dummy PS5 save that you created.

This has worked for me for a few games but I can't get it to work for Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled. Every time the game is loading it says the save file is corrupt. I've used like 4 different saves. My copy of the game is on version 1.21 if that matters
Hello there, This is quite the late comment, but I've recently tried to get a starter save for a game "Horizon Forbidden West". I've followed this tutorial to the letter, but alas it did not work. I've tried so many things with Apollo, even downloaded the complete save file listed in the online DB .. no dice. Cleaned all save data and only kept the initial profile untouched. Is it possible that some games have certain "security" measures that might prevent installing/copying external saves ?

@@CarnageReplays It works for me. What game are you trying to get saves to work. Some saves can be easy to setup on some while other games take a little bit of work.

Yes this and PS4 Save mounter work to do just that. You just need to use offline account activator on your PS4, that has the receiving PS5s userID. Make a save on the PS5 and the 16byte string in the save folder is the UserID that you need to make an account for on your PS4, and then put any saves on that account. And then send them USB then to PS5.
5:16 when copying saves to another profile. Is this step works from two different varying jellbroken ps4s. What I mean is can I do this from a jellbroken ps4 to another jellbroken ps4 ?

Please advise! I'm already confused, I copied my game saves from my hard drive to a USB flash drive using Appolo! And when I completely formatted the hard drive because the console froze and then reinstalled the operating system on the PlayStation on the same HDD drive! Then when I tried to restore my game saves from a USB drive using appolo, this application refused to see my saves on the flash drive, I activated the system using appolo!
Thank you so much. Let me explain my issue and why this helped. Gold edition for this game im encountering a bug where jack has infinite health. Ive used goldhen cheats for godmode and inf ammo and sat there for over an hour. The regular edition has a cheat in goldhen for instakill option which is not on gold editions cheat menu. I had to redownload my game fine but restart too ? Hell no. I was already pissed about the bug so i wasnt about to start over. This got my save working after several attempts.
I resigned the save and copied it over to HDD, but whenever I start the game it says the save data is corrupted. I tried multiple saves. have you seen that before? I tried GOW

Running gold hen should enable the patches. If not you can also try the ps4debug payload.

@@AshrielBackup i did the exact same steps it refuses to work the save files are not showing in game after send them to usb then to HDD all those vidoes showing 11.00 are fake also I deleted the game then started with no save then tried to get saves from Apolo it's clearly fake it only works on 9.00
@@CarnageReplays It works for me. What game are you trying to get saves to work. Some saves can be easy to setup on some while other games take a little bit of work.
Could this tool be used to resign saves to an existing psn account and then transfer them over to ps5 via usb? I lost a lot of game saves and can’t be bothered to play through hours of gameplay to get back to where I was.
Yes this and PS4 Save mounter work to do just that. You just need to use offline account activator on your PS4, that has the receiving PS5s userID. Make a save on the PS5 and the 16byte string in the save folder is the UserID that you need to make an account for on your PS4, and then put any saves on that account. And then send them USB then to PS5.

Absolutely. I transfered today saves from my slim 5.05 to my 9.00 pro, both jailbroken. I just resigned the saves and voila.❤️

Please advise! I'm already confused, I copied my game saves from my hard drive to a USB flash drive using Appolo! And when I completely formatted the hard drive because the console froze and then reinstalled the operating system on the PlayStation on the same HDD drive! Then when I tried to restore my game saves from a USB drive using appolo, this application refused to see my saves on the flash drive, I activated the system using appolo!
Thank you so much. Let me explain my issue and why this helped. Gold edition for this game im encountering a bug where jack has infinite health. Ive used goldhen cheats for godmode and inf ammo and sat there for over an hour. The regular edition has a cheat in goldhen for instakill option which is not on gold editions cheat menu. I had to redownload my game fine but restart too ? Hell no. I was already pissed about the bug so i wasnt about to start over. This got my save working after several attempts.
