About: During a recent poker live stream, controversy broke out over an incredibly improbable win by Robbi Jade Lew. In this video I take a look at the claims that she was using a hidden device (specifically a ring that vibrates) to win a lot of money.

Robbie sensed a bluff, played accordingly and beat Garrett. Garrett proved Robbie to be correct when he bully pushed all in before the river card, and that was Garretts mistake. Had he waited for the river card before going all in? Robbi would definately have folded to the ace.
The ring turning, plus knuckle cracking motions of Robbie's right hand did not happen until the all in push occured and she used a time token (like so many others in the past) to think it through. She already had Garrett where she wanted him, knowing that his all in push is locked into the pot based on this hand. Making her decision, she called all in, and legally won the pot with "J" high.
Sensed a bluff, commited to it, played it through. One of the most daring bluffs I have ever seen anyone play on tournament poker. She read him like a book.

And everyone was reacting, whoah, she called? But they're only reacting that way cuz they know all the cards.

Bluff or no bluff, no intelligent person is going to call that amount of money with no equity behind it.
Making this call is as ridiculous as going all in on beating a marathon runner barefoot in a marathon race with no training, it’s ridiculous, it’s obvious, and anyone who knows anything about poker that’s not in on it would be question what happened.

    • @michaelbastarache7124

      @@waylonwhitley5633
And therein lies the problem. Garrett's all in push before the river card was his big mistake. He should have bet on the principles of equity *before* the river card. Whereas he did not apply the equity equation he gave himself away that he was indeed bluffing. Had he of waited, as he should have, the river card ace would have convinced Robbie that she was beat and she would have folded, guarantee. By Garrette not going for equity as first to bet on the fourth card now face up was a weakness that Robbie picked up on. She is as good of a poker player as is anyone else who plays tournament poker games, and she played like the pro that she is.
Many pro poker players such as Bronson, Ivy, etc have used zero value hands and beat three of a kind hands just by betting for value and/or equity, which is very convincing when pulling a total bluff move. In the case of Garrette and Robbie? Neither had a high percentage guaranteed winning hand. Both were pulling the bluff hand which in my opinion was fantastic to see. An historical play for sure and one that will not be soon forgotten. As I text this I am still in awe that the double bluff hand happened and I was privileged to see it. A very rare occurrence of all around bluffing. And once again! Garrette made his all in call one card too early, which was a dead giveaway. All of the controversy surrounding this hand only proved one thing. Robbie, for that one hand, read Garrette like a book.

@@michaelbastarache7124 Garrett was hoping to hit his straight draw but it didn't happen and so he was whining and destroy his so-called build reputation. He is not that good. He selected players to play with in his own advantage but sad to know he was f*cked up by a daring donkey and lose it. If he is really good at playing poker then he must win a poker tournament title but he couldn't even make many cashes in tournaments.

It's hilarious the level of technology that people believe we have. People who believe that you can fit a vibration device plus a receiver and a power source for those, into a ring have no idea how difficult such a thing would be to make. They just don't want to believe that she had the skill and luck to make that win.
I really can't help but feel like this wouldn't be the same situation if it was a man who won with such an impossible hand.

And no poker player would script a cheating scenario. That is ridiculous. Her integrity would be ruined. So what is your proof that this was scripted? You have no proof because it wasn't scripted, you fool.
