Congratulations on the hogfish - I love that you each brought one home to the table! Emily - you're in good company. No matter how warm the water/air temperature is, I'm always cold after spending a decent amount of time snorkeling/diving in the Caribbean waters.
Good hunting - love Hog fish. I was raised in Florida - Melbourne Beach. I know the inventor of Spectra Watermarks (Bill Edinger) we were dock mates in Sausalito, Ca. Smart guy , Spectra was the name of one of his boats, a 43' wooden center cockpit built in Hawaii - I helped him sail it to Santa Barbara and back.

FYI, Lobster season ended march 1th, And the typ of spear that you're using is illegal in the Bahamas..
