Yeah I don’t understand all the people that think these games played as fast paced as mw3 is now. It’s so strange. Mw22 was the closest thing to these games we have gotten in years and people hated it.

I miss the clan I was in, I was ranked in like top 50k players, but my clan was filled with top 200 players. Was great playing with them, but every now again they’d remind that I’m still “just” a top 50k player and would destroy me every now and again. Good times. Good times
The cm901 was such a sick ass gun, the reload animation was my favorite for the ARs

Really miss the "modern era" shooters. Too many fps games now are either in the future or WW1/WW2.
The more I think about it, from MW3 onwards, cod never really had any absolutely broken weapon balance. Sure, each game had their own version of MP7/ACR sweats, but at a certain point you have to wonder if the most popular weapons and equipment are truly “overpowered” or if the qualities of their performance are just more popularly preferable to others. FPS players tend to choose the gun that is the most nimble (smg or ar for faster ads, sprint speed) and that is the most accurate. In the case of MW3, clearly the acr and mp7 take the cake, and it’s left to the outliers of preference for recoil, fire rate, mag size, etc to choose any other type of weapon. I remember being super purist about using guns that weren’t considered OP (think the AK, FAD, M16) and getting anal towards people that used suppressed acr and mp7 classes - but now I just regret letting this stupid ego complex getting in the way of being a better player.

gotta give you props the cm901 is considered the worst automatic ar stat wise and i think also too especially when you look at its stats it has the lowest rate fire 666 with a minimum of 3 shot a lot of ar also have a minimum of 3 shot but with faster fire rate

This is called a real military theme. New generation military themes such as MW19 and other new cod series become too fancy colorful skins such as Fortnite. They sucked up everything.
