not exactly, defense units can also support and deal damage, along with tanking so defenders are like. fighters, stunners, supporters, and defenders in one role

I fucking despise how pretty much everything in this game seems to revolve around stun. It’s like if Genshin’s VV was borderline mandatory and took half of your team’s rotation instead of a press of a single button, it’s fucking insane.
Spring Embrace is Energy Generation Rate, which is a serparate and rarer stat than Energy Regen. If memory serves, Energy Generation Rate buffs passive regen as well as how much energy is gained from landing hits in combat. Energy Regen on the other hand is only passive regen.
She will likely get a couple buffs down the road tho. Like, remember how beta Qingyi everyone was saying how she was underwhelming at stunning that Anby still beat her clean there and her only value was the stunn dmg multiplier she provided, then they buffed her 1 week prior release and now people were convinced she was a great unit. And this was 1 week before release. So we still being around 60 days away from Ceasar, she will get buffed for sure. Finally that being said, she can already be great for my Grace/Piper anomaly team cause Grace is unconfortable as hell to play, so having shields is going to make her job at applying anomaly way easier. Grace/Piper/Ceasar or grace/ceasar/rina is gonna be a better team for me that whatever big damage increase Jane could provide, I prefer confortability over dmg increase.

I think she is built for the new Shiyu with insane dmg makes you wanna have more survivability The new shiyu would likely have rotation schedule in the future like what HSR did with multiple end-game

honestly Shields won't help you in new disputed shiyu at all especially if the shields dont act like a secondary hp bar that wont affect the hp bar once they are depleted. its the dodges and parries that make the difference. she can definitely help with assist points maintenance.
I think Caesar's additional ability is a vulnerablity debuff and not just normal dmg% from how it reads to me . But other than that great video as always 👍.
@@jstern25 There is DMG Taken Multiplier that works like vulnerability. DMG Taken Multiplier= 1+DMG Taken Increase Target−DMG Taken Reduction Target. That part of the formula seems to work similar to vul from hsr but it would probably better to just wait and test it directly.
the skill parry is not energy free on success. the initial cost is still there, but the two followup attacks become free. you can see it in the gameplay

I run S11, Lucy & Piper as my Team 2. I've yet to get Koleda but I can see that swapping out Piper with Caesar once her banner's out would make for a pretty strong comp
Okay so… Im getting both characters (hopefully) currently have 100 pulls saved i might have enough to get an s rank w engine for either burnice or caeser by 1.2 because caeser dosent have much f2p options should i go for hers instead of burnice?
instead of replacing current stunners, why not put her alongside them? For example Lyacon + Ceasar + Corin/Ellen or Qingyi + Ceasar + Anton/Zhu Yuan? Stun window would be increased drastically, and you get pretty good supportive buffs too. With her W engine, your stunner+DPS gets buffed even further.
Probably gonna be a bad team, but I'm running Koleda and S11 with her. Those are my first five stars and I think caesar will help frontload a fuck tone of daze with Koleda, and therefore, more dps windows for S11. The added defensive utility is icing on top tbh.
Hope they change something in her kit to make her scale with defense/hp, otherwise most W-engines will be pretty much useless for her save for her own and the season pass one.
Hmm Caesar *works* with Ellen as a stunner, but she's not worth pulling for that specifically I take it. This is off topic from the video but what should one do if their Ellen team is struggling due to the lack of stun? Right now I kind of have to run Rina and Soukaku with her. Anby is locked in with Zhu Yuan and Nicole. My Qingyi is apparently of the fire element and wears dorky battle glasses?

Realistically, if Caesar is able to buff your main attacker and keep them on field for longer periods of time then wouldn't that be better than and invalidate that she does lower damage herself?
I think the new disk drive set is only for defense characters who have a defense assist so Seth and Caesar maybe Ben if he has one i don’t have him. Still incredibly good but you prob can’t use it one stunners
U can use defensive assist on stunners as well as most units in the game, the only chars that this does not apply are ranged chars like Rina and Zhu Yuan who have evasive assist
I wouldn't be surprised if she's good. Hoyo seem to have largely learned their lesson when it comes to producing bad 5* / S-rank characters (which they've done in GI and HI3). If anything, ZZZ is likely to suffer the same issue as HSR: too many good limited characters 😂
She have counter in her kit and it's have long up-time as well so it should not be hard to maintain the buff from it. Naturally you want to be attacked. Maybe her shield self counter work as well with it?
if she ended up being like zhongli, this game bout to get boring with the same ending like genshin, in the end they will find some bs ways to make the enemy super strong and shield/healing became a must, skill would be thrown out of the window so fast once shield became OP
Forcing people to do nothing but fucking perfect assists and dodges so they waste their time and deal fuck all damage is equally cringe. Ever try to setup Ellen’s CA against a Thanatos? Yeah, I’d very much prefer the game having characters that provide full IR so I don’t have to deal with that shit.
@@vladdyru sounds like skill issue to me, for me its pretty easy, just dodge counter with CA, perhaps u should go back to genshin.. besides, ellen is so easy to use, her skill animation is so long she is basically invincible while ur at it... but ig casual players are going to once again ruin another game for their lack of skill (and this game aint even that hard)

Then again, it's nothing like a Souls game, I don't know where you even got that connection from, dodges and parries are actually reasonable in them, as you don't need to spam the shit out of dodge because of every level 1 scrub enemy attack there - poise is a very good fucking mechanic, in case you forgot all about it.

But very much hoping it’s true as I have a pretty invested Corin (m6, level 50) and think Caesar might fit in a team with her and rina (who I just unlocked and would love a reason to invest in her). Also just love caesars design so as long as she is anything like this on release I know who I’m pulling for next 🫡

I combat buffs basically work the way vulnerability does (i.e. multiplicativelty to base damage%)

Its weird that you compare her to Qingyi because they both below to the stun family. Both characters have different roles to play.
