Many thanks, Andrea for the well-done and comprehensive video about the calculations of the CN. I have a question about the assignment of CN =79 to the built-up area. Would not it be set to higher values (90s) to be similar to the corresponding values of residential areas given in the TR55 tables?
Hello Sir, how are you, The video time is 11.35 min to 11.45 min (Land cover Shape) you skipped one step, I do not understand how to go to the next step. Please explain one time. this video is very helpful for me.
Yes I did follow the steps from the first video. It also said in the error that "please fix the geometry or change the invalid features filtering option for this input or globally in processing settinfs." Thanks, btw.
Sir i have a question. How can we calculated initial and constant or deficit and constant? Because i can't find any soil textures information about my location
Very difficult, you should probably survey your whole basin and make laboratory test of each subbassin. In refugee's settings, this would be almost impossible. In academic context it could be possible. I've simply neglected this factor. Hopefully someone can give me a better solution one day. Sorry for the unsatisfactory replay.
Sir, if my catchment is between 2 land use cover map. How should I perform the clip raster by extent? Cause I can only select one of the land use tif as my input layer. Is there any way to merged both landuse tiles together?
If I understood you right, you should merge the two rasters (with the land use information) together and then perform the workflow on the newly developed raster layer. To merge two raster in qGis have a look at this opensourceoptions.com/blog/merge-multiple-rasters-in-qgis-create-a-raster-mosaic
Excellent tutorial and style in presentation 🎉🙏
Many thanks
Many thanks Andrea. You just save me a lot of work. Grazie dal Portogallo
Glad it was helpful! Saluti dalla Svizzera

Hello Mohamed, I' m really sorry not to be able to answer you. It is long time ago. You have an interesting channel, I've subscribed.
Many thanks!
You are awesome sir.
Thanks a lot
Great videos. Very educative. I have really learnt so much. Can you please do some videos of Civil 3D on open channel longitudinal profiles
Thanks, I can not use Civil 3D, sorry
When adding CN number to hec ras, can we do it to a single map layer with different soil type? or should we input separate maps of each soil type?

Hello Sir. In my attribute table, one of the DN number is 11. How can I find the soil type and CN number for this?
He has written WHEN DN = 9 THEN 'Snow-Ice'
ELSE 'Cloud' END . So That means after 9 all of them Cloud.
When I ran the zonal statistics, an error occurred saying "Feature from subbasin has invalid geometry" Is there a way to fix it?
Nothing else in the message? Difficult to say. did you go step by step? I should see the file!

I tried fixing the geometry, and I was able to run the zonal statistics. However, the mean column is NULL. It has no value, unlike yours.
Yes there is. On QGIS you must go to Vector/Geometry Tools/Check Validity to find which basin (shapefile) has a error. It happens.

interesante el curso pero borroso se ve el video
Hola, el video es grabado en HD, tienes que adecuar la resolución de RUclips
