You all probably dont care but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Ernest Casey Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I don't understand the statement about red light at 7:55. only because the wave is stretched does not mean that it is red. the term red shift does not imply that the light shifts to red, but rather that it shifts to a light with a longer wavelength. correct me if I'm wrong or if I understood something incorrectly, please.
If you look on the electromagnetic spectrum you can see that for visible light, red has the longest wavelength and violet has the shortest wavelength. Hence the term red shift as we are referring to a longer wavelength.

Haneen Ali, when it runs out of hydrogen, it turns to using other lighter elements, such as helium and lithium to start fusing together to make these heavier elements. When it has run out of these light element fuels, it’s gravity pulls it in on itself to form a white dwarf
Life saver! This from not having a clue to understanding completely:)
I'm glad I came across this video, it was worth 9 minutes of my time! I yearn to be an Astrophysicist so this is helpful. Thank you, Sir.

I just dont understand how the main sequence star runs out of hydrogen fuel, but the red giant keeps on carrying out fusion to make heavier elements?
