Jayson is right about the extension, I am very tall I always keep stretching and lose accuracy, I tried 7 inch extension for a couple of months and feels great long shots are much easier, thank you guys for this interview
Lol Earl and Shaw shared an apartment, Kim was thinking extra what I was thinking, That must have been a trip, I can see Shaw trying to sleep and Earl up taping his cues lol
Great and Excellent!!! Both you guys are legends yourselves ---- and Jayson, well -- his record speaks for itself with a personality anyone and everyone can get behind, let alone an awesome player with a great attitude. Mr. Shaw is really something to watch but how dare ya try to guess his "play" because in many cases you'd be wrong. He and SVB play a totally different game --- their thought is different ... with absolute success. Really enjoyed the interview guys, thanks a million!!!! Be Safe

I think a couple reasons Pool/billiards is not as popular as tag or cornhole is because it's extremely hard to master, tag or cornhole is not. Lefts face it, the latest generations of kids are not exactly into work. Not all, but a lot. The playing field is bigger and more action. Pool can be so damn boring, even great players are so boring to watch. A great match to watch is the match between Danny Diliberto and Ronnie Allen playing one pocket and it was so much fun to watch. The crowd was yelling, the players were talking smack it was like a real competition. Obviously the Mosconi cup is extremely fun to watch. Pool is rarely exciting.
Pool needs to be more like darts - like the Mosconi is - and less like snooker. The American pool game is marred by a sleazy underbelly of gambling (even Tony Robles in the recent 8ball world wanted to talk about gambling vs tournament play while commentating, which is outrageous), extremely sterile players who look uninterested, and elitist attitudes among viewership, particularly Americans, re: "how the game should be played". Faster shotclocks, harder tables, 8ball, and much much more audience participation. Cornhole and tag (and darts) are 'fun' for ordinary people to watch; ordinary people do not want to watch two emotionless players run out 9ball in silent arenas. It is boring unless you are really into 'the game'.
You have a few points..although gambling is the only way to make money in pocket billiards its rooted in the game unless major sponsors pick up the game it will never change
