Stop doing the deciever satan's horns. Unless you want to end up with him in hell later for representing him doing his horns. Denounce satan and willingly accept God=Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and repent while there is time.
This toy was just like the one I had in the 1970's. I don't remember the Batman and Robin in the batmobile though. Mine could've been a different one? Maybe matchbox?
I will never understand why this car has so many fans, but everyone likes what they like As always your work and restoration a 10 Paul, you are a master Congratulations again
My grandmother used to work for Corgi in the UK where they made these. She had a line-up of them on the mantlepiece in the parlour. (When people used to have a parlour complete with piano and was saved 'for best'). She also had others like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, some James Bond Aston Martins. We weren't allowed to play with them. I have no idea what happened to them when she passed.
My old mate Jake had the Batmobile in 1969. Whereas I had the oo7 Aston Martin DB5. Another super restoration with more of your talent revealed ! 🔟 The captions are a great addition Paul.
Nice job. I’d like to see somebody ‘de’ batmobile one of these and turn it into the Lincoln Futura that the very first batmobile was made out of by George Barris.
Ooh I had one of these, I think it's buried in the back garden of old family house along with the James bond car and a Yellow submarine that sank in a puddle I dug.
I still have one of these in very good condition! I also have the larger Corgi 60's one with the cutter at the front and the missile launcher at the back.
I borrowed a Batman figurine from a later version of Corgi. Unfortunately, it was impossible to paint it as precisely as it was in the Husky. Of course you are right there he was gray had a black hood and yellow face
@stanley smith it's a joke. If you never saw the tv show American Restorations, Rick charges thousands to fix up items that costs dollars when new. There are some episodes here on youtube
I still have mine from the 1960s, with the Bat Boat and trailer. Sitting on the bookshelf as I write this . I remembering wanting the larger Corgi car.
Printed on white inkjet decal film I guess. you seal the film with clear varnish to stop water washing away the ink, but on the cut edges there is always some seepage which which causes the colour to run out and make it go back to the original white. Inkjet decals dont really work well over dark colours - you cant use clear stock so you have to use the white stock, and get this result. ALPS printed decals are the solution, but that requires a specialist printer.
I have the larger die cast model and it’s still in great condition. Why? Because I didn’t let the neighbor kids play with my good cars. I was an 5 yr old asshole, against my mother’s comments “oh let them play with those, be nice”. NO! And now I’ve got a collection of vintage toys. Be honest other kids never played as carefully with yours as they do their own.
Your restoration is fantastic! My little 1976 Corgi Junior isn't nearly so nice, with a plastic chassis, no Robin, and other lesser features. Thanks for showing how you replicated the missing parts!
So take away - don't buy "husky models" if you're looking for an untouched original? the restoration is nice and, fun to watch but obvious flaws if you trying to sell it as an "original". maybe I'm misunderstanding.
Great work. I liked how you casted your own parts. I restored 2 Corgi Batmobiles a Batboat with trailer and Batcopter about 10 yrs ago. At the time I bought repo stuff from a UK dealer to fix them up and customize one of the Batmobiles. You did a great job.
I was having a Matrix Glitch Moment about the windshield as you made it. Then you dipped it blue and the puzzle pieces of my life all fell back into place. Whew!
My grandmother bought the 1970s Woolworth batmoblie. It had the flame. Later those 70's year i received different models of the batmoblie: one with underneath spinning wheels that prevented the car from falling any edge, one with wired remote, another large scale plain batmoblie..nice sweet ☝🙏👍😉 By the way, GREAT WORK BUDDY APPRECIATE THAT TALENT from Brooklyn NY!!!!
Great job, complete with that packaging (which I only fleetingly saw as I tore off and binned in the day), its just like being in Woolworths in the 60s!
I don't even care what is being restored, I just admire the level of talent & the hard work that goes into the restoration project. Great job! 🤘
It could be something as boring as a stapler, id still watch lol.

This is by far my favorite Batmobile. They've all been cool. But, this one is the coolest. George Barris was the man. R.I.P.
Amazing how much goes into restoring these cars. Well worth it!🙏
Thank you very much
3 minutes and 8 sights already?
You have fans all over the world Paul 👏👏👏🥳🍀👍

great memory. If I were you, I would search the attic and basement. In perfect condition, these models are worth a lot
@@PaulRestorer sadly, she died decades ago. The house was sold on. I don’t know who got the cars in the Will.
Lei è un vero artista! Ogni volta che guardo i suoi video ne sono sempre più convinto. Complimenti!
Grazie mille

A top restoration Paul. 🔝👍

As this is a "silent film" - the results leave me speechless! You absolutely nailed it Paul!
Thank you very much
From the TV show, rather than any of the "movies" I used to have one as a kid. Corgi, and also fired rockets!
Cool best wishes
HOLY BROKEN BAT TOYS BATMAN! what a lovely model, good job Paul.

Bellissima da bambino l avevo uguale

Yessir, i had a few of in my youth. The oscillating booster flame, moving in and out as it rolled, was the bomb.
Cool

@Wango Bango oke, you were carefull with it?
@Wango Bango mine was 50eurocents and it still has the charm but not the looks...i am happy with that

Cool . Best wishes
Great restoration. Love the use of the "zip" tie for the headlamps. Nice technique.
Thank you very much
I still have mine it’s exactly the same but mine is mint. Ps I’m sorry but Batman is Gray
I borrowed a Batman figurine from a later version of Corgi. Unfortunately, it was impossible to paint it as precisely as it was in the Husky. Of course you are right there he was gray had a black hood and yellow face
BAT A LICIOUS! My favorite Bat Mobile Love the moving rocket thruster at the back Great job
Thank you very much James
went to all that trouble only to hack job the side stickers, sad
Considering that there was almost nothing left, this is a great restoration job (except perhaps for those side decals). Thanks for sharing.
I remember having one of those
Cool. Best wishes
How awsome is this! I had such a BATMOBILE myself as a child! I loved it! 😍😍😍
Thank you very much
you should have sent it to Rick's Restoration in Las Vegas. It would have cost you $2,500, but he and his crew do excellent work. LOL
Never Give Up! - seriously? $5,000 ?

The Bat decals look poor - why the white edges?

Inkjet decals dont really work well over dark colours - you cant use clear stock so you have to use the white stock, and get this result. Thank you very much
But the decals look terrible.
Awsome job with jst a few parts left

Yes, he should!
Thanks for the video. I own one of these and wanted to see one taken apart before I did it. Great job.

Where does he get these ragged toys?
I got this one from a friend in Argentina, and another one from flea markets and internet auctions.
