As an apprentice i've been researching this machine to be my first machine. I think the only complaint I've heard from anyone so far is that 'It's not the same as the Cheyenne Hawk Pen'. I'm pretty sold on it to be honest, the weighted front end and minimal vibration seem to be a great asset to both the art work and artist. Thanks for reviewing this! ^_^
Thank you for the review, I watched this and had to give it a shot. I love it, so thank you for your recommendation. I like your wrapping method, but how do you safely unbag the machine afterwards?
Do you ever notice that the Cheyenne cartridge needles have too much play at the tip of the cartridge while running them on the solnova? They run with a lot of friction, Like it’s not a straight/smooth up & down motion on the needle tip?
Is your nova also getting warm when tattooing? I got it today and love it, but while running it at 9.9v the motor got a bit hot, is this normal and okay? This tiny machine has such a fucking power haha i dont know what they did with that 3w motor but it has almost no give in the motor when striking the skin, love it! I don’t know how but it feels more powerful than my stigma spear at 4mm stroke, but at the same time it’s shading really smooth and light, amazing machine
Hi. Got the thunder, it works well for my lines but the healing is longer than my other machines. Would like to buy a pen. Do you know how is the sol nova for lining and if it hurts the skin? I hesitate with the vlad ultron pen who works fast and doesn't hurts the skin but it is noisy and it vibrate more than my thunder. Sorry for my english. Thanks.
Too many gimmicky sounds too and the whole thing seems like a childish, salesy attempt at a video. Also, how high is this guy? I don't care AT ALL about that but there's a time and a place for everything. Be professional and *HONEST* man, we're seriously looking for information. Not trying to be unkind just being honest

Thanks for the review. I know it’s kind of old, but I just ordered one. I can’t wait!
Thanks man. Appreciate it.
Love the easiness of the needle switch and wrap, nice.
Hey! I think I’m going to buy the Sol Nova! Great review :) Can you let me know what power supply you’re using?

You need a video tattooing with that machine. Show us how it lines on the ribs.

Mine does.... after about 4 or 5 hrs of tattooing
The nova vs the thunder, if you have tried. Would you really feel much difference? Would your recommend one over the other for allround work?

Please, if you do some machine review, show footage from work with it. Theory is good, but we need to see it in work
your video is not good its seems you only talking to yourself...
