No, it does not. Figo Preto/Black Madeira/Violeta complex is a relatively flat fig, jammier and the skin is usually a bit thicker. This one looks way more like Melanzana (I think in the US, it is more popular as "Venice Beach fig")
I keep getting comments on my Verdolino tasting videos about how much sweeter Fico Secco is compared to Verdolino. Thank you so much for sharing Fico Secco with me. My tree has a beautiful view of the lake. I know Mario would be happy that you shared it with me. RIP Mario 😢
@@Batchat2352 ya. I misspoke when I said I didn’t remember the name. I meant the number Mario gave it. It was #241 in his collection. I get more berry flavor from VdB. Both very rich, just great all around flavor
Beautiful fig . Look like pigo Preto fig 😮 new friend from Viet Nam

@@oregonfigs3314 he really did me and countless other people a favor in sharing his collection.
Very nice 👌🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏
Does it taste like a violet des bordeaux?
@@Batchat2352 not to me. VdB is also really good but later in my yard.
@@Loftinart alright because some people say it tastes similar to VDB. Also Moro Di Caneva is a synonym to fico secco
