- Natalie Elphicke, the former Conservative MP for Dover, unexpectedly announced she was leaving the Tories to join Labour last Wednesday.
She's been accused of lobbying the justice secretary back in 2020, to interfere, allegedly in her then-husband's criminal sex offences trial.

In a report to the NEC last week, the party’s general secretary, David Evans, caused surprise when he revealed that membership, which had stood at 390,000 in January, had plummeted to 366,604 at the latest count, with more than 11,700 of these being in arrears. Labour membership reached a peak at the end of 2019 when it hit over 532,000. Starmer is a liability.
This just shows how brain dead politics is in this country and all those involved in it. Also, so many empty daft talking heads on one programme.
She can move to Labour as there is no true opposition in this country.
