Well, there needs to be an understanding that all CPA services are not created equal. As a client you have to communicate what you’re looking for and what you need and be willing to pay for it. Compliance items (filing a tax return) are distinct and separate from tax consulting (strategies or tax planning) which come with a much higher price tag.
if you are taking pictures of receipts and saving for support, are you required to save paper receipts as well or are the digital copies sufficient in case of audit?
Okay this is a very serious question that I need to know the answer to.... You are for sure allowed to use any points you accumulate on the credit card with the business towards your personal fun? Is that piercing the veil? (By the way, I wonder who ever came up with that term!)
Great question! Technically that would be a question for a lawyer. Points are essentially a rebate so they are not really income and I don’t record them on the financials. I would think there is still some risk there though. Maybe if you were able to transfer those points to a personal card as a distribution and then use them from the personal card?
Hey Ashley I love the show but your voice is a bit high pitch would you put your volume ddown a little when you talk. Thank you very much. I love your contents
