The only game where I used a potion making system was Kingdom Come because the weakest poison will drain away 50% of the enemy,s total health, and the other poison will drain all of the health away.

@@jaceclarke6139 I have only played it once all the way through, and I used two handed sword and every once in a while a bow. I really did enjoy using the using the two handed swords. Although I have been thinking about doing a hardcore run where I want to try and use the bow more often and do a ranger type build.
@@outerarbiter bow gets pretty overpowered once you learn how to aim. You can use Longswords with shields by the way. I’m a fan of Longswords too, the best one that I’ve found is St. George’s sword, it’s in a treasure chest, however I forget which one

Fun fact: The creators of this game were so displeased that Sseth reviewed it, that they tried to ban everyone who bought it after his review from their discord, because, in their words, “Sseth is a nazi”.

The insane things is that Caves of Qud I think is inspired by Dwarf Fortress which is legendary for the random generations. Sseth covered that as well and it’ll literally generate an entire world and hundreds of years of history

Ah, Caves of Qud. A genuinely interesting game with one of the worst communities out of every game I've ever played. I'm not even talking about the political positions or the hypocrisy in some of their choices, I'm talking about the borderline cult-like behaviour the place has to the devs and the things the devs have said. Very much a place ruled by "If the devs say it and it fits my biases, it must be true" without any critical thinking.
Doesn't stop the game being good though.

@@voadoracobra5111 I looked into it, apparently, dev discord has or had at the time channel with the tagline "Anti-Imperialist School for the Development of the Militias and the Cadres of Revolution", which to my knowledge is entirely unironic

Well, ignoring the fact that they used literal nazi propaganda based off American Jim Crow laws unironically to justify them creating a closed gate community to prevent anyone holding undesirable views like wanting to play as a specific faction getting in because I'm not sure if they ever realised what they were copying word for word...
Or the fact that several of the devs are self-admitted authoritarian-communists and see nothing whatsoever hypocritical or odd about that because it's a bit of a political one...
I would go with the fact that the main dev went officially on record on reddit during a bit of controversy to *explicitly* say that anyone "playing the game of fascists" is either a fascist or a crypto-fascist.
In response to a person saying what amounts to "You have the right to ban people if you wish, but banning them for wanting to play as a faction *you* created is a bit much"
So it's the most bizarre by virtue of not making any sense whatsoever in context.
Was the "game of fascists" the game itself? Wanting to play as the evil guys? Protesting arbitrary banning for poor reasons? Talking to the dev? Some imagined conversation the dev thought they were having?
And a number of people jumped straight on that in blind support without any clarification ever being said.

Even though I die a lot in this game, it’s still an addictive title to play. And I can always come back to my original character build I loved so much with more knowledge.
It's been more than half a year that I've been playing this game and oh lord I thank Sseth for that, a few dozens of hours just creating recipes to be overpowered on every run. Once you get the controls (which are basically Tab, Left Control, Spacebar and the numpad) the game just get's easy peasy.

Hello I am the one that played with Daniel in war thunder
I mean every Person playing Skyrim the explotation way (the right way), knows about the resto loop so alchemy is incredibelly broken. But you are right most casual players just use looted stuff and why shouldnt they most of the time you cant do alchemy properly without having to dupe the items through glitches.

I sometimes make missions for my friends and I to play in certain games and I can 100% relate to making it so completely nonsensical my friends can ask me "so wheres the objective" I can honestly say as the mission maker "I have no idea."
the game is great but there is no tutorial
I mean it's the type of game that frankly a decent portion of the playerbase would get angry at such 'handholding'. I don't personally play it but the games whole charm to me is figuring stuff out in a completely alien world.
I find this reaction video very untrustworthy. I mean they are actors. They might be fu**ing acting and we'd be none the wiser... Think about it.
