Yes, 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 is an example of this. If we’re bold without love it becomes dangerous “truth telling”. If we don’t have love in our boldness to tell the truth, nothing is gained. It's easy to go both directions as in not saying anything when gossip or slander is spoken or speaking up without praying to be gentle & compassionate and like Jackie said, "...not glorifying God". For a time, an elder was saying to me that if you have fear in you, you need more of God’s love in you, particularly agape love. I’ve been praying and asking the Lord what fear and love have to do with one another, and the way you broke it down in this video has given me a clearer understanding. I had to be honest with Him and confess that I needed to know what real love is. I went through a lot at a young age, so my perception of what love is, is no where like the love that Christ wants us to have. I’ve been fearing man since my youth, and now that I am adult, I can see how far the Lord has brought me, and how He is still working on me in this area. Thank you and God bless!
