Best FOG LIGHTS For Bikes |HJG Fog Lights | 40 Watt Fog Lights

This video is about FOG/AUX light "HJG Fog Lights 124" which i got installed on my CLASSIC 350 Reborn. I tried to give you the details about the lights and my experience of testing it before i got it installed. Please check my video you want to know the rules as per RTO which you should complaint with.
I purchased this Aux light from a local store in my city.
According to RTO, following points should be taken care while installing FOG lights.
1: Replacing your halogen with LED light is not illegal, LED has better visibility resulting more safety on road. But please make sure that when you replace your head light halogen with LED, the power output should not be more than the original light.
2: Fog/axillary light should be placed below to headlight. Fog light above your headlight is illegal.
3: Fog lights capacity should not be more than the light capacity of your headlight. otherwise, it would be illegal. As per GOV RULE the max power output of light should not be more than 60 watts.
4: Other than yellow and white fog light, all other colours are illegal.
5: Fog lights should not be used in city, where you have generally good light on roads. This is illegal and you can be fined by traffic police.
6: In two ways roads where you have high traffic, using Fog lights are illegal.
After this video, your all queries about Aux lights would be resolved.

I think you should be able to do, you have to buy separate harnesses for your pulser and Honda.

Fog lights are not legal in cities???? Then what type of lights or power of lights are legal for city uses? Just for asthtic purposes I would like. Would appreciate your assistance on this info.

In city, where generally you have good street light, you are not suppose to use fog lights. In my case I'm using company fitted stock headlight. But regarding fog lights there are some rule which i have discussed in vlog. I also cover my Fog light in city and use it only when i go on highway in nights. One small query here. In your case, headlight wattage would be max 20 watts. Fog lights power rating is 120 watts (60watts each as per seller ad). Is this illegal as per RTO ?

Hello @pappu34567, your fog light wattage should not be more then the wattage of your headlight. but i'm sure about whether this rule is for a pair or single. I checked on internet and this seems to be a gray area. I will suggest keeping the fog light wattage equal to or less then your bike headlight wattage to be on safer side.

Hi Yash, I think it should be. These light are not bike specific. probability you will need compatible fitting clamp.

What is the battery power consumption?

It will certainly put some load on the battery. I am using it for more than 3 months, but I did not see any issue with battery. I don't use it on regular basic, I switch on this lights only when I cannot manage with my headlights.
