Honestly I can see why Melog imprinted on Catra. Melog was attacked constantly to the point that it sees everyone that comes close as a threat. While Catra due to her upbringing also grew to believe everyone that gets close to her is either trying to harm her or use her to the point where she even treats those who are genuine and nice as threats
