You have found the best possible trail cam site. An astounding number of species shown here. It was once a forest service road but now it’s a wildlife highway! Well done.
@@PrvBen I have a cat who does that lol! Fans out his tail like a skunk, straight up in the air, puffs out his fur, and stalks through the house. 🤣 He thinks he's the king!
Definitely not coyotes. Coyotes have wider and larger ears, larger eyes, noticeably fluffier tails and chests, with more defined color patterns on their face, and they also have more red and brown in their pelt. Coyotes also look generally more petite and scrawny, with longer, thinner legs, and not as muscular in the chest, shoulders, haunches, and legs as a typical wolf. You hardly ever hear of a coyote, or even several coyotes, killing a grown wolf, but wolves will kill coyotes and their young with what almost seems like a fervent hatred... though I know I shouldn't ascribe human emotion to non-human animals, I know that wolves don't normally prey on coyotes, though they will kill them, and wolves won't expend energy on chasing and killing unless there is a clear benefit to the pack, nor will they risk getting injured unnecessarily. If they do not eat the coyotes, they have an equally important reason for hunting them they way they do. I was also thinking that the wolves looked very thin, but consider the lack of prey animals, there's not much variety to select from. There were only a few instances of whitetail deer appearing, but they moved quickly and seemed rather nervous, and they weren't looking too robust themselves. These are probably the same type of deer that my hunter friend told me stories about- they have learned to reflexively duck when they hear the sound of a bowstring. That's gotta be a really frigging nervous deer. I couldn’t help but notice a similar restlessness and agitation in the demeanor and conduct of the female wolf... maybe she's a first time mother, and the presence of several different black bears has her on edge, but I was under the impression that black bears and wolves don't compete and torment eachother as much as brown bears torment pretty much everybody. Brown bears habitually prey on young wolves and black bears, and will even kill adult wolves if given the chance, most likely because brown bears and wolves do compete and prey on the same types of animals. You will find plenty of videos here on this platform documenting the monstrous, coldblooded acts of brown bears terrorizing animals which you don't usually see getting terrorized...
Fabulous! This nakes me miss northern Minnesota!
Only thing left Wild in America ❤❤❤❤🐾🐾

👍...all seems well (and balanced) in this nature setting when you see such a wide variety of wildlife going about their daily lives in the same area.
I just moved away from Minnesota and this makes me miss northern Minnesota!
Fantastic!
Wow, a badger even!
I can’t get over the white geese (?!) .. I did read on some NY board that a guy’s parents who live on a large upstate property have Fischers still..

Ruffed Grouse
@@PrvBen Thank you! I wasn't sure since he looked ruffled up, or puffed out, lol
Yeah, they're pretty cool looking little guys. They call that puffing up behavior "strutting," which I think is very appropriate.

The scent that I love the most is the scent of the forest, which you can't really tell in the video, but this video conveys that.🌳🐺
Thank you, beautiful scenery. Enjoy watching wildlife in their natural habitat, undisturbed. Is it me, or do the wolves look a little thin.
Might be looking a little scrawny for wolves. Which I would expect, since those are Coyotes.

Is that a red wolf @ 1:59-2:00?...
I know they're only native to the southeastern states.
@@clarkkent84977 Just a Coyote with its summer coat.
@@PrvBenOkay, thank you, nice to know... mystery solved :)
@paulclark8497 Yeah, there are only about 35 red wolves in the wild, all re-introduced after being extirpated in the wild sometime in the 60s.
@@PrvBen I seen a short documentary on them, probably less than a year ago. I've forgotten that the number was that low.
The Badger was wonderful to see❣️ Are there ever Grizzlies up there?
Absolutely fantastic ❤
What part of the country is this located? Such a variety of wildlife…
Northern Minnesota, Voyageurs National Park or nearby.
Why is it only the bears seem to be swarmed with flies and mosquitoes?
Animali e natura fantastici ! Bellissime immagini e video stupendo !!!!
