A thing I notice about these flashbacks too, each one is not focused on him or his strength.
- kusakabe is strongest g1
- praising his simple domain
- asking miguel for HELP
- how nanami holds a record over him
- Ino deserves the nanamis tool
Each of these are (loosely so) connected by Gojos acknowledgement of his allies strengths , and where they shine over him or could be needed in the coming fight.
Its a nice way to figuratively show progress toward north, becoming someone new, who is not alone and does rely on his friends.
To me it also makes it feel less hollow as if he just came back outta nowhere, cuz the flashback fashion gives us a sense that this isnt something he decides trivially after losing to sukuna but that he has always been trying to become different since Geto passed. It was just the last thing holding him back was to proven to him, via sukuna, he was not the strongest

The only things that can stop gojo copium is the ending. If the series hasnt end yet we'll still believe the tenseigan holder will be back somehow.
We are riding the copium train to the end, just like how we riding the Yuuji train.
If you want to stretch the flashback even more (I will), they could be in chronological order, meaning the flashback from 253 is before 254, 254’s flashback is before 255, etc. we have 257 which is definitely the latest flashback we’ve seen of gojo. Maybe a flashback for 258 or 259 could be him explaining/observing the type of training Yuji did in the month before he fought sukuna. MAYBE

In my opinion it makes the most sense that sukuna gets beaten by Yuji and the merger happening after that. Then Gojo could return without ruining Yujis moment in defeating Sukuna AND we would have a final fight with Yuta, Yuji, Gojo, Maki, Hakari and the others (possibly Megumi too) together fighting the merger.
IF Gojo will ever come back then it might be through a binding vow where he comes back use his powers and lose all his powers in the end. Symbolizing a full rebirth; from the strongest to just a guy where he will no longer feel lobely by being always at the top

About the seven flowers, Itadori's black flashes might also symbolize that he's the "chosen one" to beat Sukuna. Yes, he did hit 8 in a row, but it was his first one that "awakened" his potential, so he hit 7 afterward
Another thing to note is if we get a 6th flashback next week and the 7th flashback the week after that means its last chapter before the usual 3 chapters 1 break week schedule gege following and mostly (not always) the chapter before a break usually have a big thing going like they always have a banger to keep fans waiting on the cliffhanger so if anything we might see something in 259 or the chap afterward this might just be true 😮

We already got Yuji’s awakening, and now we might get Gojo’s return too??
Since Yuji locked in now, Megumi is probably going to take control soon. I think they’re going to make a parallel to the scene where Toji remembers Megumi’s name, then it cut to Gojo revive himself on the brink of death. So Yuji or a Tsumiki hallucination is going to call him by his first name, Megumi, and then Megumi will awaken. Then we’re gonna cut to Gojo showing signs of life.
Also Gojo coming back would allow him to atone for not prioritizing Megumi. In the Gojo vs Sukuna fight, while there are some moment where he think of Megumi, it’s pretty clear his main motivation is to affirm his identity as the strongest and to connect with Sukuna. He was stuck in the past, wishing to recreate his blue spring with Sukuna, rather than focusing on the present AKA his first student, Megumi. Pretty similar to how Toji lost because he wanted to affirm that he’s better than sorcerers, and forget about Megumi.
I agree and to add Toji said he didn’t feel right cause he normally would have ran cause the job was done. Gojo lost when he was focused on being the strongest but when he revived and focused on others he survived for years. So if Gojo was focused on megumi vs sukuna he maybe could have won and saved Tsumiki. That’s crazy😂
Probably, in 258 chap gojo comes back in yujis flashback ( panel of him saying to yuji that he will inherit sukunas CT) and then probably in 259 gojo might be shown in flashbacks of sakuna,yuji,geto,toji,nanami, Megumi while still yuji and sukuna are fighting. And i suppose at the end of 259 sukuna will beat the sh#t out of yuji and co using fuga or something and then 260 when things looked desperate here comes gojo and then kisses sakuna in the forehead

Hey, love your content, and that you answer viewer questions directly. I had a few questions i was curious about your thoughts on.
1. maybe anime friendly:
10 shadows insiders vs outsiders?
If outsiders are still able to fight the shikigami, would there ever be a reason to invite someone else to subjugation with you if they can fight it all the same. At first i thought it might be more difficult to fight as an outsider but that didn’t seem like the case in the sukuna v mahoraga. And if it is just the same for outsiders, if you do the ritual solo, could friendly outsiders still attack and save you if you are abt to die? Then it just changes the properties of the ritual as soon as they attack mahoraga? And would people like utahime be able to help without messing it up?
2. Does Yuji gain power or unlock innate power?
My thought was that he more awakens his potential than gains power. We know at the start yuji only has physical prowess, and before eating the finger, he’s essentially dead even with unawakened maki. After he eats the finger, he gains access to using cursed energy, is this solely due to the cursed energy of sukuna soaking into him or is it more that this sudden crazy event gave him full access to cursed energy, and he just gets better at using what is now “his cursed energy”.
That first part isn’t nearly as meaningful as the next parts cause this is where it starts to change.
When gojo tells yuji that sukuna’s cursed technique is going to be engraved on his body, and knows that yuji has the potential to be better than him, it only makes sense that he’d say that if yuji already “has” shrine and blood manipulation. (Born with, just doesn’t have access to them sorta like junpei)Like my thought is that yuji is born with shrine and BM because besides kenjaku, no one can use other CT that weren’t with them at birth. He just needed CE and a “awakening” enabling him to use them, sorta like how anyone can use rct. It’s just much harder for yuji to be even able to use a ct in the first place.
If this were the case, then, when gojo came back, he would be able to specifically tell this to yuji saying that he has these two techniques, leading yuji to eat death paintings to try to be able to understand power and him being unsurprised of his own power to use shrine after an awakening.
Or am i just over complicating it and yuji gains ct of whoever he serves as the vessel for and he technically is the vessel for all the death paintings. Either way i still think it’s an “all at once thing” rather than a gradual soak but idk.
3. Six eyes without genius. Gojo is clearly a genius, what would a 6-eyes user be capable of without the same genius? Or do you think most would have both. Like do you think a 6-eyes user can actually see techniques, and how domains and cursed energy stuff works or just raw, insanely accurate information about cursed energy flow and control that allow gojo to figure everything out. If gojo somehow gave 6-eyes to anyone other than yuta (who was insane knowledge and understanding of cursed energy simply due to nature of his technique) would they even be able to really take advantage of it immediately besides increased precision?

I left a little bit out about your second question because I wanted to keep the video anime friendly, but I will give you the rest of my opinion here. I don't think Yuji had Blood Manipulation/Shrine from the start, because I don't think Gojo had reason to lie about Yuji not having a Cursed Technique, and in the latest chapter the narrator confirms that the reason Yuji has BM is due to consuming the Cursed Wombs. And then Shrine I think can be explained just by being soaked in Sukuna's Cursed Energy like Gojo originally theorized.
We also know this because when Higuruma confiscated Yuji after the death sentence, it didn't take a Technique because he didn't have one, and instead took his Cursed Energy.

My question is kind of more of a what if scenario. After the Hidden Inventory Arc ended in the anime, my friend and I wondered what if instead of Gojo killing Toji, he made a Binding Vow with Toji. What could this entail? Would it be some kind of one time use summon/ save that Gojo could only do once, or would Toji permanently be under Gojo’s control? He’d definitely have been useful in Shibuya lol. Kind of a weird theory and if there’s not enough meat on the bones of this one for you to make a video out of I understand, I just honestly enjoy Toji discourse lol. I think it would be cool to see Toji as an ally, or to at least see how long he could last.

If they had come to some kind of agreement and then made a Biding Vow it could have taken shape in a lot of forms really! It could certainly have been something like, I'll spare you and you have to listen to my orders from now on, or it could have been a 'one-time' favor type of thing, it would have just depended on what they agreed to but certainly both are feasible/possible.
It definitely would have been cool to see how Toji progressed if he had stayed around the story, esp with what we are seeing from Maki right now! I think he would have been an incredible ally if things had gone that way.

So Todo wouldn't be able to obtain a HR through a binding vow because thats something that you have to be born with, like Toji/Maki/Mechamaru. We don't really know how they come about but its as if a binding vow was placed on you by the heavens, and thats why its so extreme/powerful.

To be fair, Gojo used a Maximum Technique and RCT'd an arm back (which takes a lot more CE than just a reattachment) seconds before getting cut in half

I don't really have any extra money to ask a question right now... but I'd really love to see you make a video explaining what you know about reincarnation in JJK so far. Because it feels really random. We knew curses reincarnated because they came from ideas and those ideas never died but and people from different eras could make deals and INCARNATE into host bodies back into their original form.
But now we've just flat out got people reincarnating? So why does that happen? How often does that happen? If Sukuna is killed what is stopping him from being reincarnated later on?
With Megumi being steeped even deeper in Sukunas CE than Yuji ever was wouldn’t he have his own version of Shrine if he comes back? It’s canon that Shrine was engraved on his brain, the bath, the transformation and Sukuna used 10S Megumi would have to have it imo.

idk if this comment gets to be read. But every time we have a Gojo's flashback, we have some major cliff changer. First one made Kusakabe kaisen, after second flashback Kusakabe hit Honored one pose, after third one, Yuta and Maki came back, after fourth flashback, Yuji awakened and after the fifth flashback we finally saw "Dragon" in use (Ino's last part of CT). So, if we look like that, it ressembles a bit the Gojo vs Toji last fight. At first Gojo was strong, but not enough. After he got Awakening and become the Honoured One. Then he used Red. Now we just need to see 2 other black flashes. One after which Yuji I think will use his max technique, similar to Hollow Purple and last one, after what Sukuna will die (or almost at least)

My personal theory is, megumi not wanting to comeback because nothing tie him to the mortal world anymore is a good set up for Gojo coming back. Having seen his daddies, Go alive and Jo kicking, might give a light of hope for megumi to stop being a bump and actually fight back.

I got a funny feeling that Gojo is comin back on CH 259, just a guess, and if I am wrong but he comes back later or earlier, correct me.
I think hes coming back based on the buddha theory. Hes based on the buddha and the steps taken to reach true enlightenment is a man with a cane (yujis name) a sick person (yuta) and then seeing your dead friends which just happened. So yeah i think hes going to reach true enlightenment and he'll come back. When he was a teenager he was never truly the honored one. I read that it should happen when he ages up too. Theres a video that goes deeper into this theory. So yeah. Hes definitely gonna come back.
Hear me out: I’ve been saying regarding the morgue there have only been 3 characters that we’ve seen on a table in the morgue. (In sequential order in terms of when the events happened )The first was Yu Haibara (who was bitten bitten in half), the second was Yuji (who was dead and came back to life.) The Third is Gojo who we see sitting on the table. Gojo’s current state is similar to Yu with the halves of his body separated, so maybe he will come back just like Yuji did.

The one thing that won’t hold up is Gojo coming back during golden week. It looks like weekly shonen jump is taking a break week before ch. 259 according to Mya. So if the theory holds up, Gojo would come back the week after golden week on May 12th. But you might be cooking something up with all these coincidences

Imagine if instead of a flashback, the 7th is a continuation of the gojo death scene where they add short texts building up his choice, like "What will you do" or "is your job done yet".
This happens after sukuna hits yuji with a near fatal blow and to finish the fight, sukuna casts DE but then the last lines of the chapter are DE, infinite void.
Obviously sukuna cant 1 v 2 them but with the merger available, stakes could still exist while appeasing the fanbase and adding hype. I still want gojo to atleast say something to megumi since his goal was to save him even if gojo dies afterwards.
So about the recent chapter, 257:
We just confirmed that yuji does have "shrine" but because he is of the modern era..his "shrine" operates like a pair of scissors, as opposed to kitchen knives....
Not only that, but he has 2 individual CTs, which is something we haven't seen before... add on top of that that yuji has basically surpassed gojo in terms of black flashes.....A WHOPPING 8 BLACK FLASHES IN A ROW...
Theory time: so we have jujutsu sorcerers....who each have their own personal CT...BUT we have yuji..who has now developed 2 CTs from different ppl....is it possible that we mite go from "sorcerers" to having jujutsu "wizards".... would that make yuji the first "wizard" in this regard... think DND to help with this understanding....

So if by wizards you mean sorceress start to be able to have more than one technique, then I think anything is possible sure. Yuji could be the start of a new wave, but in my opinion I think there are other reasons that expalin why Yuji has 2, and I think its because of how Sukuna's true CT actually works OR its a product of the special "experimentation" Kenjaku did on Yuji, as opposed to an 'evolution' of sorcerers in general. (Also shoutout to the DND reference! Love finding other TTRPG nerds out in the wild!)
