honestly the movie downplayed her so bad, renée is just such a good regina george. like who doesnt have a massive crush on mcadams' regina george, but gosh she's so alluring and shes so regina george in her own way in the musical too
I think the main part I was hypnotized by Reneé's talent in the movie was when she sang this song. The song overall was great, but the way they did it in the movie was better than how they did it on stage, in my opinion.
I wish there was a recording of Maya Petropolopes (Second National Tour) version of it she was absolutely AMAZING and her singing in this and specifically world burn with a new riff in (but you didn’t finish me off) WAS SO GOOD

Then september 2019, several of her costumes were changed to cover her thighs. skinny jeans to tennis skirts, etc. the rumor going around the MG fandom was that Renee requested these changes, but January of 2023, in a Call Her Daddy Interview, Renee revealed that someone in upper management (most likely a producer or someone with authority) requested her costumes be changed after seeing her in them, and the changes were all made without her permission.
