- The fight over Jollof still continues! but the Senegambia Jollof speaks for itself! if you don't believe me just try it out....
Ingredients;
this can be cooked for 8-10 people
fish; Ruhu fish and Barracuda
5 cups of rice-cups measures 350ml
3.4 liters of water
Nokoss seasoning; bell peppers, chili peppers, a whole bulb of garlic,2 leaves of bay leaves,1 and 1/2 onion......
Roff seasoning for the fish; a bunch of parsley, bulb of garlic, black pepper, maggie cubes, spring onions, scotch bonnet pepper.
for the special salsa/diaga
one onion and scotch bonnet pepper, pickled onions,2 packs of seafood mix,
I am from Ghana but I grew up in Senegal. I can confidently say that Senegalese jollof is the authentic and best one.

Lol this jollof they try to brand everywhere has nothing special actually. I mean I am from Ivory Coast, and we also cook and eat tiebou djeun always, it’s the best rice ever!!

Cheibo gin Jollof comes from the wollof culture.. Bet Nigerians and Ghanaians didn't know this. Yes Senegal make it the best.... Nigerians make it with more juices and flavorings however, the Senegambian style they cook the rice in the broth of the juices from the meat.... So Divine. Senegalese food is the best period.
