Bought the B2601 in 2019...no regrets...strong enough for my needs on 7 acres.

Also consider Lx2610su if you dont need the mid pto option, it knocks the price down significantly. Enough to put money into a zero turn. Pto can still pull a mower deck if you really needed to.

Weekend warrior? I use my Kubota BX for Commerical work and so does many others and it suits the job just fine so surely a B series will as well lol. But I know what you meant, great video buddy 👍🏻
Biggest thing to take into consideration is the size of the jobs your going to be completing, the type of work, and the amount acreage your gonna be maintaining with it where you live.. Generally 1-3 acres for a sub compact and 3-6 prolly for a B01 and for an LX I’d say 6-8ish.
    Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Nice video. I had actually narrowed my choices down to the B2601 and LX2610 before deciding on the B. Thought the basic comparison was great. The B still fits my needs the best. Thanks for choosing these 2 models to compare.

Thank you for the video. The price difference is pretty small between the two tractors. The LX2610 is definitely worth the upgrade if the extra gain in size isn't a problem.

I tried to make that exact decision a few weeks ago. Both are beautiful. I really liked the LX but really wanted a belly mower along with the increase in loader lift capability. I ended up with a Yanmar as it was a sweet spot between the two. My B7100HST servers me perfectly for 30 years. I have passed the Kubota to my son who will continue to use it.

The mower decks hang different B2601 is like a traditional lawnmower. I never looked at the B2650/LX2601 which I believe adjusts by the castor wheels ? I have loaded turfs and love the B2601 for mowing 😀

The B series actually fits my needs better as I need a lower center of gravity for 3 acres of steep rolling hills and a flail mower. Thanks for the overview

One thing that would have been nice to know would be the weight of each. I have the 2301 and frankly rarely use all its power. But the weight tells a lot of the story when you are pushing your tractor

    Excellent info Jack as always!
    One question?
Are both of these tractors natural aspiration exhaust systems, (No DEF)?
    Thank you,
    Blair

In the LX series, do you recommend the LX2610 or the LX3310?

    Hi Jack
Another great video, you're getting to be quite a celebrity, right up there with Neil Messick :-) Keep up the good work, I really like the LX line up, but was wondering about the mid PTO comment you made in the video, you mentioned that the LX2610 is the biggest model offered with Mid PTO, doesn't the LX3310 also have that option? I look forward to seeing you soon.

LX2610 and 3310 are the same size. The only difference is the engine size.

Are the rear end housings Aluminum or Cast iron or Cast Steel? Trying to find this info for all the compact tractors is nearly impossible. Also, the LX3520 that I really like the looks of....what's the scoop on when that's finally coming out and what's it's rear end housing constructed of?

I chose by size. I have a lot of hills and narrow trails. The B2601 worked out for me best for those reasons.

The form factor of the B2601 is a huge advantage for those smaller areas! Thanks for watching David!

@Mike Mancini I think it does really well. The larger tractor rule only applies if the relative width is wider. The B2601 is perfect for my size property and the hills.

    Hi. Thanks for your video.
I am just across the river from your place. I have a 220 ac wood lot. It is very hilly and my trails (old skidder tracks) are a bit rought. I am looking to get something bigger than my atv to pull logs out and plow my road (1km). I have never own a tractor before. Not sure if it would be safe to use. Should i consider one of these 2 tractors to get wood out or they are too small and/or would be to tippy on hills?

I would look into the L01 series, similar size tractor, just a lot heavier and more stable. Just no mid-PTO so no front blower. Feel free to stop by sometime and take a look!

It would be nice to tell us the difference in the approximate price between the two models. I’m not asking for the price, I’m asking for the price difference.
