I bought that same Model 320EX Speedlite used and it had leaking batteries inside before I bought it. I watched this video and used the CLR and it worked perfectly. Idid not have to disassemble the item past opening the battery door. I have now had it working normally for several months now. THANK YOU!
Thanks for the video. This worked great on my 430EX II. I had left batteries in it while it was in storage. I thought the flash was a loss. This got it working perfectly.

How did you get the batteries out? I have one battery stuck in my 580EX II. I don't know it is stuck because of leakage or because it has swollen.
Awesome, but stop using those batteries! Toss 4 eneloops in there. This will never happen again.
Great point!
so your solution is to clean it? genius...
