Nope he was just a narrator. The guy never showed up in the game unfortunately despite being teased here which makes no sense from BioWare. Just feels like false advertising.
This teaser was the reason why I started playing the Mass Effect series. So badass

This is on of my favorite trailers of all time, I remember seeing it before the game launched. So I bought mass effect 3 I didn't have any context for the game so I didn't really know what was going on and all that. I went back to mass effect in 2016 with backwards compatibility and man I fell in love with this series really I did. Played though all three it was an amazing experience! Glad they re-release the trilogy hopefully they do something with this IP again something is in the works for sure💪
I remember when I first watched the announcement when it was shown at the VGAs. It was uploaded under the title Killzone 3 trailer... the surprise was even greater when I realised this was Mass Effect 3 because I genuinely thought it was a completely different game 😂

Commander Shepard is my hero because despite how she was observed as be it renegade or Paragon she fought to keep the universe alive. When no one believed in her it was her crew that stood by her time and time again in 0 to 10000 odds of success.
She saved not just Earth but the galaxy.

Yeah, i've always thought it looked and sounded just like him, even when they first showed it on commercials, I was not intirely sure. I had not heard anything about it or researched it, but in my gut i always knew.

Yeah it was a bit disappointing that indoctrination never really had much of an effect on Shepard or the story, yes the villains got indoctrinated but your never betrayed by someone you thought was a friend but turned out to be indoctrinated

Big Ben can be seen standing upon approach to London at the end of ME3, so I'd be interested to see the trailer you are referring to.

@darkartu22 well this one isnt out yet. it's rated 'm' but its not bad. its nowhere near something like gears of war with blood, nothing like grand theft auto with drugs and sex. really good, emotionally engaging.

just replayed mass effect trilogy, as much as EA and bioware wants to make more money off of online shit, they're just shitting on their reputation as the years goes on while Naughty Dog, CD project Red, Insomniac, Santa monica studios, and even rockstar get props for standing strong. I say even rockstar because they still keep their singplayer high quality while focusing on multiplayer stuff

It's hard to believe that this series used to mean so much, it was one of the best and most-beloved franchises in gaming. And then... the bluehairs came. And just like the reapers, the bluehairs destroyed everything. "Twelve million franchises dead in the first day."

No, there wasnt a london left to save. So afew big cities were ruined and earth now has no over population issues.

Why wasn't the guy in the tower a character in the game? Feels like dishonest and false advertising/promoting. Major Coats reminded me of Udina the way he looks and talks he gets no love from me. The sniper in Big Ben was awesome though. They could of added a bit of a cameo in the final mission having him snipe something and save Shepard's life but no. Let's just forget about that right? Ugh... And why is London, Vancouver and Rio (only in MP) the only places you visit on earth? Why not New York, Hong Kong, Paris or something? Just another proof that ME3 is a bit rushed despite still being incredible. They needed longer development cycle than just barely 2 years and more polishing gameplay. This guy in the trailer would have been a lot more cool than James for example as a squad mate. And Major Coats was completely useless and a thrown in person in the plot at the end just for Anderson to have someone with as big as an ego as he does at his side in the end. Vancouver is the only solid and interesting place you went to in ME3 in the beginning. Only earth mission that was fun and entertaining. The scope and the magnitude was amazing.
