Have you got the last video?
I remember these two signings very well at the time on the back page of the Daily Star. I know we bought Popescu soon after but if only we had got in a couple of world class defenders in addition, this team could have been special. Sadly it wasn't in Ardiles management to play defensive football when required.
We were apparently very close to signing Gheorgi Hagi wouldn't that have been interesting
If we did sign Hagi that would be of brilliant, we had a great front line that season. It was the defence that wasn’t that good.
@@supertottenhamtv It sure would have been. He was very interested in coming after we visited him at Brescia allegedly and then the call from Cruyff came at Barcelona 😒
I remember being at school getting excited reading about Hagi coming to us. He was a magician.

I remember this from VHS, it was done in 3 parts for some reason. I had the 1st two but never had the last one. Dont suppose you could upload the last section if you have it
Unfortunately I don’t have part 3, I only have parts 1 & 2 like you. I don’t know why they did it in 3 parts
