    Haha nice strategy didn’t even know it was possible !
    When I was young I broke my teeth on this missions especially to fight those barbarians 😂

      Well, this approach doesn't work out the exact same way in the original game that you and I remember. (The AI's behavior in the Remake is different.) But since I became moderator of the Knights and Merchants speedrun page, I had to become aware (do research) on different tricks that people came up with for the original game also. One of the videos I stumbled upon (specifically for TSK 08) was ruclips.net/video/emotS87MvDA/видео.html .
      What I call the "link-before-dead" (LBD) trick that I used in this video to separate the bowmen from barbarians most likely does not work in the original game, but as you can see, house fences can be used in every version of the game as a form of defense (in one way or another).

      Thanks! But you have a pretty decent time for the building and fighting approach. Clearly you aren't in a rush, but your not taking your time either!

      @@4EverTrying well what i do at start is sending all units top to aproche and fight barberians, than i can handle recruts with axe with ezz. without the need to build many towers. My build is first metal units - producing and than food (bread+wine) after i do pigs. in 1h30 i have like 80 metal units to handle first opponent and then i replanish army with axman with shield -since i build pigs after metal

    How did you manage to separate the barbarians from the archers? At 3:50 it's clear they are coming back.

      I specified how at 3:30. (I linked the single bowman decoy to one of the bowmen at homebase . . . before the single bowmen decoy gets killed at the AI town.)
