It would be nice to know which one you receive if your just starting with something like a WR120, you don’t know what the advisory and watch tones are.
Same thing happened to me my version 5 died within a week a lol, So I ordered a version 3 I was hoping when I bought the version 5 i'd at least last a year or so but no. I plan on repairing the version 5 at some point with the new chip that it needs.
Now owning it for almost 2 years, I really recommend it because the AM/FM Reception on it is amazing. The reason why the speaker stopped working is probably because of them putting the Alert volume to HIGH which is a problem with some people. It's still loud on low but regardless of alerts, it's really good!
