Also the loose fuzz does go away eventually, it just takes a couple weeks of regular use in my experience. The fuzz does wash off easily in the washing machine.
I recently switched to the Costco velvet hangers, it took me two days and 3 boxes. Not a fun chore, but it was totally worth it. Also they pack a single so that you can test the feeling of the hanger from outside the box, there is a cutout in the box and in the plastic bag.
I changed to velvet hangers. They are wonderful. No slipping off clothes, no wrinkles from bunched up clothes on the hangers and they take up less space so my clothes are not smashed into the clothes. There is a learning curve on how to remove clothing from the hanger and my husband broke quite a few hangers at first. I just replaced them from the dollar tree which sells them 3 for $1.25. I also live in an Arizona desert and with the dry heat can hang them not touching while wet. They dry in a few hours. That means I'm saving on electricity, I only handle my dresses and shirts once (effort) and the dryer is not wearing them out so they last longer. Sometimes change is hard just because it is new. This is one change I never regretted.
I hear ya on the different sized clothing. I’m pretty much in my old clothes after having a baby but don’t think I can wear my jeans. I’m officially old enough to not care and wear what is comfortable. I think the velvet hangars do provide more room but I like the plastic hangars. It’s easier to slip my shirts off of. I have mine for years. All the new ones are very thin.
I changed to velvet hangers, then changed back to plastic 😂 I found it really annoying taking things on and off they just seemed to stick all the time. Will admit they looked great though 😊
The extra may be QC. Some manufacturers pull an item from all boxes for a QC check. Penny is so adorable! I also just noticed your shirt, nice nod to LOTRs!
Y’all make beautiful babies, that’s for sure! She’s so cute just looking around and kicking her little feet back there. Goodness Parker is getting so big, looks like she still enjoys helping mommy around the house, thanks for sharing. ❤
That extra hanger sounds like a good idea, I have bought a couple boxes of the velvet hangers and sometimes the one on the 'bottom' of the box gets damaged from shipping. So it would guarantee you always get at least 50 hangers.
You will love the velvet hangers. It takes a tiny bit more effort to put some of your clothing on them, but it is worth not having to pick them up when they fall off the hangers because they won't fall off😊. Also, you will be surprised how much your closet grows😅❤❤❤
The fuzz doesn’t last. And the separate hanger was because of placement in the cutout on the hanger box. My first 2 boxes had the separate hanger outside of plastic. They may have changed that and placed it in plastic to keep it clean.
The kids are so adorable! I miss that with my two (20 and 18 yos). The "extra" hanger is one of the 50 so that you can feel the hanger material from the front of the box. That's why there was a hole in the bag that it comes in. (Sorry - I was like saying to my computer over and over, "Gabbi, listen to me. It's not an extra hanger!) ha!
❤😊Penny is so adorable. I can't believe she's already 6 months.

it also clogs them.
I couldn't believe you had Penny on you. LOL For pants I like to use the hangers with the clips, and you can put like 5 pair of pants on them.
Yer a rockstar mamma! Much love and blessings to you and yours!🎉❤😊
Lovely family.
What is that baby carrier called? I’ve never seen a baby facing out like that before besides a papoose carrier. 😂 She looks so happy. 🥰
2 minutes in and I saw the baby on your back! 😅😅😅 Go mom!

After my divorce I made my room girly with beautiful things that I liked I also changed my hangers to black makes a huge difference
There is something so wholesome and heartwarming about seeing a daddy with his children. You got a good one!
Love the baby just chilling hanging out

DOIOWN open ended hangers from Amszon. Great for pants! Sturdy and look uniform!

I bought all my velvet hangers at Costco. A few have broken here and there, but I’ve been using them for years and overall they’ve held up well!
I switched to velvet hangers and I love them!
Why don’t you consider storing as many hangers in the empty boxes that the hangers you are using came in? Just a thought.
Your little papoose is adorable. She’s so stinking cute 😊
There is a hole in that single hanger package so you can feel the texture of the hanger.

I donated my old hangers to the Salvation Army and Goodwill so they have more for donated clothing. I also sent some to a women's shelter.
I have wanted to do my hangers with the black velvet. Guess were going to Costco. ❤❤❤

KIDS SWEET
❤️👏🏼
Why do you have two beds pushed together in the master bedroom?
You put a sick child on the dirty floor? :/ You couldve just moved your crap off the bed and set her there? Baby hoarders are so bad with kids.
What are baby hoarders?
