Hello Matt ✌️💟. Growing up way, way back when in Newark, us kids used to ask Mom & Dad for a dime for an 'Icey." In those little white squeeze cups no spoons given. It was the highlight of our day. LoL hahaha Y'all better ask somebody! 🤣🤣. We didn't say Italian Ice either. Smile
Oh wow, we used to get a little wooden spoon with our icey cup. We called it a spoon, but it was more of a flat scrapper, lol. Thanks for bringing back that memory friend.

SherBERT? or SherBET? 11:07 When you get to Nasto's in Ironbound you will find that they have Italian Ices, AND Sherbet, AND Sorbet. They also used to have something called "Shaved Ice" in Newark. Is that still around? (Or was that a Philadelphia thing?)
Sherbet Ice Cream. Shaved Ice, yes! It's still around. On that first corner on 7th St and 7th Ave, a shaved Ice man sits there sometimes.

One of them went under a car for about 7 minutes. It seemed he was hot and seeking shade. They walked into a restaurant and just walked around, then ran across Central Ave and onto 10 St. 🙂 THANK YOU.

Yep that was probably them for sure.They looked tough. One came toward a woman with her little dog. She picked the dog up and moved out of the way.@@lplp8529
