I've heard of The Mummy series but not seen it, heard of Constantine, Bourne Legacy, Oz, My Cousin Rachel, The Fountain, etc but not seen any of them (yet).
I see her Oscar win was for The Constant Gardener as well but I've also not heard of that.
I still don't think she's household or A-list though judging by her filmography. I'd say she's B-list along with other Marvel actors who are known but usually on TV or as supporting stars e.g. Idris Elba, Gwenyth Paltrow, Benedict, Tom Hiddleston, Terence Howard, etc.
I mean even Brie Larson, Marisa Tomei, Mahershala Ali, Sam Rockwell and more are all Oscar winners but not household names. So I guess it just varies from who knows who

I know everyone made a big deal about "Female Thor" a few years ago when it was first done in the comics, but if they do it based on the comics and truly follow the source, that story line (if they decide to go that route) can make for a game changing comic book movie and cause Natalie Portman to actually dig very VERY deep in her performance but not as Thor but as Jane Foster because of what being Thor meant for her personally.
It deviates from Norse Mythology where Thor is Thor. Period. It's his name, not a title that can be tossed around to Jane Foster, who is hardly worthy of anything.
