but hey, how to keep my realistic draw clean without save them in frame?
usually i save all my paper together in the same place. but then, after awhile, the background that should be white being dirty because those paper rubbed... :(
btw, i just use 2B, 4B, & 6B pencils to draw realist.

I was always baffled at how my shading was so inconsistent (dark in some areas and lighter in others), turns out sharp pencils are a NO for shading haha! Thank you for this video and for pointing this out especially. Always looking forward to seeing your videos in my sub box! x
Hi Klaudia, I do not want to say that sharpened pencil is not good for shading, for some other techniques it could be. But from my own experience this way is much easier to achieve smoother results in value drawing :)

Yes! My mother taught me how to draw through the years it helped me to stay connected to her. I love realism I get lost in the details everything around me disappears. After many hours you have this beautiful drawing in front of you. It's an extension of something beautiful within yourself that the world gets to see. With that said at one point in my life I just stopped drawing and feel disconnected from finding my true center. Then I found your videos. Like I said the drawings are an extension of you! It is so Beautiful !

These tips are awesome! Thank you for sharing them with us! I have recently gotten more into properly shading, and bought myself a precision eraser, also using paint brushes (so will definitely use the Squarish one you suggest) and tissue

A white pencil is not useless..... It helps a lot in drawing; it stands out in dark colours and drawings..... That means you are not useless -in fact nobody is!
Now I will be truly the only useless being in existance

Thank you! I actually do not use coloured pencil, I love graphite a lot. I only use colors when I paint with watercolors :) But I would like to work on some other medium as well in future.

What’s the difference between graphite pencils and normal pencils other than being darker because u can just us 8b or 10b pencils

I found pencil erasers a couple weeks ago. I was excited, for sure. The ones I have are made with regular pink erasers, though...so I wish they were more fine quality, actually. I still like them though.
A couple years or so ago, I found water-soluble graphite sticks -- on clearance!!! Now those I have never seen before or since, but would definitely recommend them for their uniqueness. You can get some neat effects with them...more than I've thought of probably... Only thing with them is that you cannot really erase.
P.S. Nice ideas for blending graphite with brushes.
Can't have too many kinds of effects, I say. 🙂

Hi can you please tell me where you got your paintbrush from? Also I found you on Instagram and I found your portraits and pictures so mesmerizing and beautiful. I was blown away by your drawings. I’m 14 and I recently took art as a GCSE option. I thought that I was good at it, but I clearly wasn’t. I nearly gave up and I thought that picking it was the worst decision of my life. So after a couple of day I stared to get headaches and started feeling depressed. We’re drawing potraits and other stuff in school. And I i never finish on time so I have to take it home to finish as homework. Watching your videos inspired me to get better. And not give up! Thank you for the amazing tips!❤️🥰☺️
it doesn't really matter what paintbrush you use...
I also chose art for my gcse. I wasn't shading properly until this video.

So I have heard when you're drawing and your hand touches the page you should lightly use hairspray to the page to avoid smudging. Is that true?
Hairspray isn't archival but it works well for practice sketches. Hard to erase though.
