Epistles of Paul: 05 - 1 Corinthians

In this class we will discuss 1 Corinthians 2:12 thru 1 Corinthians 3:5 and examine the following: Paul contrasts spiritual discernment with worldly thinking. Believers, empowered by the Spirit, understand God's gifts. However, those relying on human wisdom remain spiritually immature. Paul criticizes divisions within the Corinthian church, attributing them to a lack of spiritual maturity. He emphasizes that ministers are servants of God, each playing a role in the spiritual growth of believers. True wisdom comes from God, and human boasting is misplaced. Paul urges the Corinthians to recognize their unity in Christ, emphasizing that God is the source of all spiritual growth and understanding.
