The Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree was revealed in February last year. There has been a recent update to the DLC in Steam suggesting progress as well as some exciting information from FromSoftware's parent company. Possible Reveal soon? TIME TO GET HYPED!

Hopefully we do get it this month. A trailer with a release date before the end of February would also suffice.
The trailer is the more likely outcome. we would have heard about it by now if it was releasing this month. A shadow drop is unlikely as well

I personally would prefer if they're just releasing the DLC without a trailer. Hold on before u jump on me and hear me out.
- A trailer is spoilering and I am on the same term as Miyazaki here (the best experience is going in there "absolutely" blind)
- Lesser wait time. After watching a trailer u count the days and so the time goes by much slower
- Would be such an impressive and surprising move by just saying: " Hey, here's the DLC. Break a leg, tarnished. Btw you're still maidenless!"

Well the problem in that is the only people who really know is FromSoftware , so everyone else is just speculating based on different bits of info they r gathering from the financials to things they see on the backend of Steam. U cant blame em for trying but u wont get the actual info until they publicly say a date for trailer or the DLC . Id love for them to release DLC trailer and the release date on the Anniversary on ER .

im totally sure there's not gonna be any dlc this month... i was watching today ds3 dlcs trailers and comparing the dates.. ashes of ariandel trailer 24 ago 2016 - release date was 23 oct.. almost 2 months, same with ringed city.. january-march 2017... and i doubt theres not gonna be a trailer for ER.. why would they do that? also QA phases normally take between 3-6 months..
Yeah definitely no release date this month, but it would be fantastic ti get a trailer at the end of this month with a 2 month out release date, just like ds3. I think that's how both ds3 dlcs were, as well as bloodbornes

"Working hard" implies thats their main focus at the moment. Thats my opinion, the lack of release date given tells me as soon as its done theyre gonna release it.

There could be Multiple DLC since the Colosseums opening was considered a dlc.
While the Kadakowa report isn't ment for us, they know we are starved for information and will be analyzing these reports... so hypothetically let's say the DLC is meant to come out in a week or two, they aren't going to put that in a public earnings report because a release date hasn't been announced yet. I didn't know about the Feb. 7 update though, that sounds promising... Cheers Mate ! !
