Intelligent_Zombie: Agreed 100%, if flown well and to try to stay out of the fracas, typically the "hot contested areas," this Ground Pounder is in my opinion, the best of the best. Flipping zones, I have listen to you very closely, is what this plane/jet is design to do. I have the 1102 B also and I agree with you 100%, the IP 40 P is by far the easiest, the German line you need to to help more as a jet and air to air combat to help flip and zone. Thanks Vee for showing the pilot and the gunners attributes/skills, that is always helpful.
intelligent_Zombie: Did you go with gas power guns with the cool down as you typically do? I flew this last night, 08/22, did well but guns over heated. Let me know how you have this set up if you have the time, the "icon" appears to be gas powered?
I only have the Il-40 yet, but these tier 9&10s have so much Hp already you can afford to do some crazyness. Like building a maneuvering built with lightweight wingframe and pilot's skills ADE and ABE. So turning your Il-40(P) into an Il-10 at tier 9-10, whilst still having monster payload/turret/survivability.
@@Veebat You aren't wrong. And yet, if you get over that wall and grok how to use them, the lesson carries through all the way to tier 10. The only difference in the tiers from (arguable) tier 6 and (certainly) beyond; is that the planes just fly a bit faster, shoot a bit harder and/or bomb more often Bonus: it even applies to using the low tier premium attackers (tier 2 biplanes, tier 3 gull wings, and even the tier 4 Duck) as well.
Hey vee, do you own the la-9rd? If you do could you make a video on it? I am considering getting it and I want to know how it flies. Great video by the way! Keep em coming!
I don’t have a tier x GA yet but I am working on the Soviet GA but looking at the statistics of the two GA’s and I came to conclusion that the soviet is just better in survivability the turret the forward firing but yeah it’s not as fast and as menuverable but that’s not the point of a GA
In the cools under settings you can bind keys to pitch up and down. I seldom need pitch down so I just bind pitch up to the F key since I never use F for sniper mode, I just scroll in on the mouse.
Me too, Harenun. Me too. I get there first and blow up what i must with the bombs. Then use the guns to delete enemy controlled AAA (neutral AAA i will leave alone to shoot holes in the red team) while secure/steal-ing kills from other Bombers (friendly or not) and by that time the enemy Attackers will show up and I gun them down. Cap secured. Bonus: in the time it takes for the enemy to respawn, i am that much closer to the next priority target. And this is the how to for *very* hardened targets like factories or to a lesser extent command centers. Literally every other zone is consists of enough softer targets that those can guns chew through the whole zone in no time. it seems a complex way to do stuff. But to be honest it is the same SOP for "how to German Attacker" since your first battle in an Me 265 waaaay back in tier 7. This should be second nature to anyone long before they hop into an 1102 B. Or even the 1099 B-2, for that matter. Thus most of "active " thinking can go towards the "big brain stuff" like maintaining a situational awareness to avoid detection (until its too late for them) and Using chat commands to get those bots where they need to be while in transit. Maybe even get the drop on any distracted MultiRole that you would not escape if it were to focus you.
Hey Vee bat, little off, but interesting: Here's an interview with Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi. venturebeat.com/2020/08/16/how-wargaming-overcame-mistakes-and-reclaimed-the-future-of-world-of-tanks/ Mainly chit-chatting about WoT, but in the middle a paragraph about WoWP. People were talking about the future of WoWP, and smb shared this link in a forum topic here: forum.worldofwarplanes.eu/index.php?/topic/53747-collectors-bundles/ Blindfold have answered to us who were wondering about the future: "Dear pilots,
Please stick to the thread and don't go off-topic. You can draw any ideas you imagine from the interview - it is completely natural for any person to seek for confirmation of his or her opinion allegedly "hidden" between the lines - but the fact is Victor simply confirms that WoWP is not going to be closed.
There's a team and there will be updates. Updates' content and the dates will be announced in a timely manner."

So glad i was able to get my efimov medal for the vampire mission in the il-8.... which has a lot more damage output than trying to get it in the 329!
My favorite, 12 skill points on my gunner and the girl pilot. So fun, that's for the vid.

I got to the Me P.1102B first because the whole german line is so much fun to fly. Still working on reaching the IL-40
Brooks Rownd the German GA are arguably more entertaining, but have a skill barrier compared to IL’s style of play.

i just avoid the il40P even in my heavy figthers, the only way i engage this beast is that It carry a death wound

Very much agree. Do it
This gamemode seems way better more intuitive for roles then warthunder like actually taki0ng out a base watching you do that was awesome

I have the soviet line in specialist and I think are the best GA of the game
Ki 84 gameplay, if you have it.
Or ki 162 II.
Hey Vee, check the title (you've spelled tier as teri) :)))
Thanks, fixed
hi
i wuld also like see upgrades/equipment
Saying GG when you get air superiority in 5 minutes is just plain mean.....Good video keep it up
I have a little question. How can you fly up and down while you are in the Tailgunner mode?

b-but... I like my German ground pounder. :(
Harenun Hoppus I like that one too. Speed is fun and it can do wonders when the enemy is busy dogfighting an ally.
You need to wiggle your tail to make good use of those guns

Right blame the kids Vee
