  • There's a rather unusual piece of jewellery in the Waddesdon Manor collection that has stayed at Waddesdon throughout it's exchanges with the British Museum amongst other escapades, the Jewelled Bodice.
It was designed to be worn at the top and the front of a Bodice in the eighteenth century. As you'll see, this particular jewelled bodice is quite spectacular simply because it's so enormous, whilst it's also made of a combination of flat and rose-cut diamonds.
