as much as everyone hates blair, im on his side in that clip. the press knew his position perfectly well but were just trying to get something quotable. unfair tactics
Well to be fair, having someone repeat the same question over and over again before you've had a chance to answer it is rather annoying. Though in general, yes he is.
@glebber It didn't do too well, but I must admit that I am a fan of the movie, I read the books afterwards, and as usual the book is much better, but the movie was pretty good despite how it did.
In a way you're got to admire Paxman. He's utterly relentless, shameless and unapologetically rude. But it is very entertaining and to the point. Still, I'd not like to be the one being interviewed. He grills more then a George Foreman appliance.
I have to disagree there. Politicians very rarely give a straight answer, and the question Blair was asked in this clip was totally fair. Regardless of if he had already made a statement. And to be honest in that clip, due to not giving a straight answer Blair did start to dig himself a hole.
No, he was saying nothing. If you are anti-death penalty say, "I disagree with Sadam being put to death, but it is a country with independent sovereignty". Don't just say "my position is clear", it is the usual from politicians; to patronise us.
I hope Damien does this again. He's very good!
"Come in, you must be Frisian!" XD
I spit my soda up when Paul said Bagpuss!
Damien Lewis is handling himself well.
WOW!this is the first time I have seen Tony Blair being really pissed of.
Must be the studio lights..........
@glebber It certainly did justice to the books (although Anthony Horowtiz was the screenwriter) definitely a decent film.

Was Stormbreaker any good?
Didn't Stormbreaker do quite badly?
(I haven't seen the film, so I don't know)
