I think it's a song about acting out in response to being abandoned but being secretly ashamed of how he's behaving. Kinda a tidbit about the filming of this video. In the scene where he was supposed to cry he actually did end up crying for real and couldn't stop even when the scene was cut. :( He probably had a lot pent up.
I can’t imagine mainly him being such a great talent having to hear critics and all the hate that him and most idols have. It does build up and makes you angry and because he’s a true artist he expresses it thru music it’s jus AMAZING . I truly admire him 👏🏽

VIPs never talk about these things because we prefer to focus on the achievements, so people don't know of all the abuse and threats, but it's truly incredible how he's kept going delivering hit after hit while maintaining such an impressive work ethic the whole time
