  • I take a trip to Beach Ford to check out the 2018 Mustang GT and test drive it. With a ton of new features, including an new gauge cluster, standard dual exhaust on the GT and optional Magnaride, it's tempting. But will I trade in my 2016 Mustang GT for a brand new 2018? Watch and find out!

    This is just the mid-cycle refresh and will change in less than 3 years for the all new redesigned model. You've done so much to your car that it's not worth selling at this point for basically the same car (similar HP with your mods) and the same chassis. Your car also handles way better due to the suspension mods too! :)

    I'm still not convinced on the front end, but all the added technology seems to have really taken the Mustang forward. Unfortunately it's taken the price up too. But I guess that's the way it goes. Ford has definitely made the car better, especially if you like the auto.

    Glad you're keeping yours brother! I love my 2016 GT Convertible. The only thing I really like is the new 10 speed trans. I have added quite a few things to mine too. And really like the way I'm setting mine up. New things are always coming up. So I understand why you kept yours and I'm glad you are. I love everything about mine and I couldn't see letting it go. Not to mention the price increase. That one is $6000.00 more than the 16's etc. Can't see it. Anyway, I like yours and you're making the way you want it. That's what I'm doing too. Anyway like the videos and keep on cruising brother. Have a great and very blessed day brother .

    The 2018 Mustang is awesome, but the only thing I don't like is the redesigned front fascia. The 2015-2017 Mustang front fascia looks better, with the old school muscle car appearance. Ford removed the hood mounted turn signals for the 2016 model year. I wished they kept that feature.

      Take the money and supercharge your 16. Then see if ecobeast wants to drag you!! LOL
      Seriously, I love the 18's, but they're pricey. Rather spend the money on my 17. I want the magnetic ride the 18 offers......pretty much nothing else. I did hear the shifter in the 6 speed is better, but I want a MGW anyway!!! For you auto guys, I can understand the desire for the upgrade of the 18's auto-transmission.
      BTW "5.0beast"...........no one's using it. Can't really understand why not.

    Nice review. The '18 is a vast improvement over my '14 GT. I'm tempted.....

    That is a steep price for a Mustang.
    How much does it depreciate the moment you drive it off the lot?

    I'll hang on to my '16 and like you, wait for the redesign. Then my '16 will become my daily and the new one will be for pleasure use.

    Ford should've kept the V6 because the Ecoboost I don't like. Its making me to go over to a Chevy Camaro V6. : (

    i like the look of the 2018 but im sorry ford because to me the 2015 looks way better. more simple. the 2018 looks meaner but the 2015 looks more beautiful.

    Keep your Stang. You'll save tons of money and it's not like the 2018 model is light years ahead technology-wise. Sure, it has a few more horsepower and torque, but the front end looks "pinched and stretched" compared to yours.

    My Brother!...Did I hear you say that you're going to Slap on a Supercharger on a 435HP 2016 Mustang GT and outrun a 2018 460HP Mustang GT? So if you put a supercharger on your 2016 and make about 6 to 700HP+ at the crank and if the other guy or girl put on the new supercharger design for the Higher HP 2018...You really think you're going to Out-Run a 7 to 800HP+ 2018 Mustang GT?...I Like to See That Race!...My money will be on the 2018 for the WIN!
    But I do understand about you investing a lot of Money into your current 2016 Mustang GT already! Meanwhile, here is an idea for you...look for a Wrecked 2016 Shelby GT350 and swap out your 5.0L Coyote for the 5.2L VooDoo engine, slap on a Supercharger on it and then get a Beefed Up 6R80 6sp Auto Trans from Power By The Hour and you will No Dought Beat a 2018 Mustang GT even with a Supercharger!...God Bless!
    BTW!...You will come out a lot cheaper than Buying a $50,000.00 Brand New 2018 Mustang GT as well!

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  6 лет назад

      Nah, I didn't say anything about supercharging a 2018. My point was that if I'm debating on trading my car in and more horsepower is a factor to consider, I'd come out cheaper by supercharging my car versus getting a stock 2018. I think you read a bit too much in to what I said, but hopefully that clarified it. And the VooDoo engine swap is an interesting idea! But, I'd get in to trouble with that much power! LOL!

    Good video we haven't got the 2018 in the showrooms as yet in the UK and I agree with you 2020 will be the year that I will be looking at as my 2017 only came in June so to trade next year would mean dumping a load of cash and for what?I love my s5.0 convertible but miss the add ons you guys have Recaro's safety features for lane/cruise if they had been put on the European cars its would have got a better Safety Rating Here is a list for you to see what we have to put up with :-(

    "30 more hp makes a big difference" -- You can barely notice 30 crank hp. Talk about a promotional video. Next.

    • @ALLCYLINDERSTV
      @ALLCYLINDERSTV  6 лет назад

      So now more HP is a bad thing? And you failed to mention the 10 speed transmission or any other new features. Ford doesn’t need me to do promotional videos for a car that has been in production for over 50 years. The only thing that’s clear is that you have no idea what you’re talking about. Next...
