This particular reform regarding the 'Reasonableness Clause' has got nothing to do with politics. It may sound like a paradox but it's not. In fact the Judiciary in Israel have been usurping political powers for years, abusing their power by becoming political. As for passing other laws, I'd be very concerned if the new government will pass a law which prohibits playing football on Saturdays, such a law would lead to Civil war between the seculars and the religious. Israel should unite in making a law that prohibits Religion in Government. Outlaw religion before Israel will become Iran II. Democracy cannot survive Religion, as religion is too toxic and too lethal to any political system, let alone to Democracy.

I am for the will of the majority in Israel, and the majority in Israel are for judicial reforms. There is no greater democracy than that of honoring the will of the majority.
The Israeli Parliament realizes the need to prepare for the impending aggression from Iran, and so passed this bill into law. It is an indicator of the size of the Iranian threat. Democracy is the perfect ideal, but sometimes is a detriment in time of war. Obviously, the Israeli Government is preparing for aggression from Iran.
The democracy that they yup their mouth with everyday forcing people to have always goes out of the window when its not on their side they just passed a law that millions of people is demonstrating against that tells u how undemocratic they are
