6:43 one of trinidad and tobago's fast ferries, that solved the problem of moving 1000 passengers between islands. the best thing that happened to inter island travel! thanks incat!

keen observer yes both the T&T Spirit and Incat 046 (T&T Express) were built by Incat. I even have videos on my channel riding on both fast ferries.

If U pumped air between a hull and water of a standard ship would this crate a column of air between the two and would this cut the resistance . I remember some thing about a jet fighter that had ruff surface and crated drag allowing it to fly slower in dog fights. Could some thing like ruff hull design that holds on to the pumped air for longer be possible

not sure but i know if bubbles of gas come up from the floor of the ocean a passing boat will sink like a stone.
Air bubbles in the ocean do not support a vessel and is suspected of being behind the sudden loss of ships in some parts of the world

It wouldn’t work because of a thing called ground affect which basically causes either lift or downforce without any drag. If it’s not low enough in terms of pressure, it can cause serious problems

This was already done ,there was a fleet of cats called HSS they were the largest ferrys in the world operated by stenaline ,4 were built but high fuel prices and maintenance put a end to them
