Ya, last time we used to get it at my taman in Alor Setar. Bila order baru uncle tu buat. Nowadays all efficient . At least this shop the roti still freshly made, the roti is still garing outside.
Parking at argyll road is hard to get. Usually I pusing 3-4 times minimum to find parking. Lama tak makan at roti canai argyll road. I remember the beef curry was tender.
I parked just opposite Kashmir, in front of 7-Eleven. Pusing 2 kali also. The shop owners and workers getting old, no new people there now, can go support lah. The roti and curry is nice.
That roti looks bigger and better that what we get here in JB. Every year getting smaller, less tastier from the old days and costs more. You wont see any potatoes in the gravy either.
I remember when I was running low on cash, eating roti canai was the best way to get full cheaply. It used to be around RM0.30 for a roti kosong. Then it was 40 sen, the RM1... nowadays it is RM1.50 to RM2 depending where you go. Still, it is less than how much nasi lemak has gone up... from 20 sen to RM2 nowadays!
Looks yummy... roti bom with cheese sounds good
