Well now that I've spent 5 days binge watching all of your content, I'm all caught up. I have to say it's been a pleasure watching you and the wife` work together and get so much accomplished. All while living in the house. I'm a new fan and subscriber who's looking forward to all your future videos. You're both real, and down to earth good people.... BRAVO !
Just throwing this out there -- If you get rid of that little 2 foot wing wall that's remaining of the furnace closet and you replace the door to the bedroom where it was before, then you have room for a 4-5 foot entry closet between the living room and the boys bedroom. And you get rid of that annoying jog in the hall way. You don't need that vent on the upper wall in the living room side anymore and that will get cleaned up at the same time. If you don't use it for coats, you could always use it as a linen closet. Maybe half linens and half coats. Just my idea for what it's worth

I bet the boys will be happy to get back in their room! I was reading an article about lumber prices and the contributing factors for the increase. It stated that the average lumber cost for a new home is increasing in cost by about 24k. It's sad when plywood almost breaks the budget!
They're excited, but not near as much as we are! :) We'll probably push to finish the boys room first, then the bathroom on things we have choices over. We can live with one bathroom longer than just one bedroom. We shutter to think how much more everything is going to increase in price just because of lumber prices... it's surely got to have some kind of butterfly effect on things overall. Especially after this long! The spike is turning into a plateau. :(

Hi, I love how Angela took a nice 'long rest' there, not!!! Can't stop a good woman!!! You two work so good together, I'm amazed how well you just see what needs to be done and do it without asking the other for help. Ever thought about tracing outlines of the boys on the bathroom dry wall before you put the walls back up? We remodeled our bathroom once and had the boys stand at each end of the tub and we traced their outlines just for fun. We dated it and often wonder what other people might have thought when they redid it again. If you're still living there in another 10 years, and remodel again, I bet the boys will laugh at how 'big' they were during the last remodel!!! Memories, right? Loved your expert hole cutting and loved your happiness at doing it so well, lol. Great job all around!!! Take care, stay safe & healthy. Hugs!!!
