Thanx Em3
why you call it backslab when supporting on sides?
Essentially a cast that leaves a large unplastered gap is considered a 'backslab'. If the leg is fully-enclosed by plaster then it would be a 'full' cast.
Thanx
Any body following this method now a days.... every body aspirating haematoma, put jones compression dressing with long leg knee brace....
Actually first start with skin protection bandaid. Otherwise it will make reaction to the patient.
This one is more of cylinder cast rather than B/S
