Girl, I feel you on the relaxer, I broke last July after I got my natural hair cut into a bob, it was a GORGEOUS cut, but the natural hair peaking through was driving me nuts, since I relaxed I just maintain with a silk press every two weeks and my hair is at its best. I was losing out on life with my natural, because my hair wasn't to MY liking I stayed in the house for almost the whole seven years of being natural, I would spend tons of money and time on products for no reason and end up wearing a hat, so OVER IT!!!
This is my dilemma right now! I totally understand! ❤

Why did I watch this? I just put my hair in twists and now I have the urge to take it down and flat iron it. 😞 I feel you on wanting to relax my hair too. I think we tend to remember the easy parts of having a relaxer (having straight hair) and not the hard parts (maintaining the health and look of said straight hair).

I toggle between being in my curly girl phase to a straight hair natural every couple of years. I am currently in my straight hair phase. I go my hair cut into a bob and I am loving it.

Little secret. Use the opposite hand for ur head. If your doing the right side of your head use your left hand to hold the iron and vice versa. I’ve noticed that it straightens my hair better. If it’s the middle use both hands as in interchange

So after celebrating with my long flowing hair, I'm getting my shears and clippers and it's gone! I'm tired of doing it. I'm tired of spending all my money on products. It's all in the tools! I have been doing my silk presses at home for years. When I want straight and swinging hair, I use a titanium flat iron. When I want bouncy curls I use a ceramic flat iron. And of course, heat protectant and a thorough blow dry is a must.

My favorite combo for silky silk press is generic value paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo, generic value nexus moisturizing cond. And chi serum and the iron guard. I really want to try to the color wow so bad
