These videos always have the most well behaved kids on the planet! Usually my lil one is ninja kicking my face 10 seconds into him sitting in his seat!
Rear facing is recommended up to 4 years old now. It is a complete hassle to get my 2 year old weaved through the seat-belt to get him into the seat. I'm not sure this design was thought through. I don't have another £200 to get a more user friendly seat so will have to make do. Not happy.
I have the same issue, I found it easier when I move the belt below the guard box thing on the side or most of the time she goes under the seat and gets in from the other side I just buckle her
Hello Adri! We totally understand the hassle of the seat-belt when rearward facing. As Alex mentioned below, we do recommend pulling the belt down under the Guard Surround Safety panel when placing your child in the seat. So if using in booster mode can you use isofix and no top tether, so the seat is secure you would use the seat belt on the child or would this not be safe? Thanks

I do not get the point of an isofix carseat that only uses the isofix forward facing!!
I only want the isofix for when rear facing so you don't have to faff about with getting the child in and out around the seat belt. When they do forward face on a seat belted seat the seat belt sits behind the seat and out of the way so isofix isn't any more convenient at that stage either and to be honest I'd rather take the extra space in the footwell at that point! I'd rather a seat that isofixes rearward until 4years then is belt fitted once turned forwards. Does such a carseat exist? Or better yet one that does isofix both forwards and backwards?
I agree completely. Just got the car seat home and i want to return it. I mean, look at the video, she’s struggling to get the child in the rear facing seat.
@Mr Viking so after doing some research apparently the cosatto all in one is a good option for rearward with isofix and lasts until 12 too
I did rearward with a seatbelt until 3+ with my son and I don't want to do it with my daughter because it was a faff!
This was at the top of my list until I saw the mother putting the child in the seat at 1:36.

In rear facing mode, Is it as awkward to get the child in as the lady makes it look? And why doesn't it use isofix?
Very confusing. I think they are conflating two or more modes of usage. Also this FX model isn’t available anymore. Don’t try and contact the Halfords helpdesk you’ll just get more confused.
My car has isofix seats but not tether anchor(opel Astra gtc h) ... So I can use it without isofix for stage 1 and then I can have isofix and belt???
Hello Dimitris, for stage 1 you could install using vehicle seat belt and also use the ISOFIX. Just keep in mind the ISOFIX are not required if you are using vehicle belt install. The top tether is required if you only use ISOFIX install.

If I want to use it for group 3 front facing, and my car didn't have isofix so i have to installed it on seatbelt, right? But how about child seatbelt?

Hello, Yes, you can use just the seatbelt for group 3 mode installation.

I can't get the seat belt in my Nissan Quashqai to reach around the back of the seat in rear facing as shown in the video. It's too short.. not sure what to do next???

Does this mean isofix can only be used for group 1 ?
Hi Handy Hu! Thanks for your interest in every stage fx! The ISOFIX can only be used when the seat is forward facing, so that would include groups 1, 2, 3. The ISOFIX cannot be used rearward facing. If you want further detail on how to install using the ISOFIX, you can reference the instruction manual. Page 7 has a nice diagram explaining each mode. You can find the instruction manual on the every stage fx website page.
Please post a video how can someone remove the seat from the car. Impossible. I gave 400 euro for this useless seat. I am very dissapointed.

Hi Surah! We strongly advise keeping your little ones rear-facing for as long as possible. For our every stage FX, they can sit rear-facing until 18kg. Is there a possibility to buy a waterproof overlay for the whole seat? I mean with belts protection too. We often must put some piece of cloth on the seat to protect it from accidental diaper failure. It is not very comfortable. But what´s worse - just yesterday our baby threw up in the car and with being it a yoghurt, it caused a horrible, HORRIBLE smell. It wasn´t easy to it clean it up and the worst part is, that parts of the "second-hand yoghurt" managed it on the seat-belts and inside the mechanism of the car seat. I have no idea how to clean it from there.

1. Is this installation video also for the signature version? (every stage fx signature)
2. What is the minimum length of the vehicle’s belt for rearward facing installing? I’m asking because my suv is old and not sure if the belt is long enough

1. Yes, this installation also applies to the signature version.
2. We don't measure by seat belt length as each vehicle is different considering all factors such as seat depth etc. You can check if your vehicle is on our fitting list here: content.joiebaby.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/M-PS0323I_every-stage-fx-Fitting-List_20180801.pdf
If your vehicle is not listed, we recommend asking your local retailer to help you fit the car seat in your vehicle before purchase.

Thanks for replying. I went to the local dealer last week, but the salesperson said it’s not safe to install front-facing with only seat belt? Is it unstable if we only use 3 point seat belt without isofix for front-facing ? We are looking at signature version now but hesitating...
@@georgechang9139 Hello George, it is normal and safe to install only using the 3-point vehicle seat belt when forward facing (this would be the equivalent of our every stage car seat that does not have ISOFIX connectors). The sales assistant in the shop I bought two of these from told me that the seats, in the rearward facing mode, should not touch the back of the front seats. There is no mention of this in this video or in the installation instructions. Is this just her personal opinion?

Hi Emma, good question! Yes, we advise against touching the back of the front seats, because this may hinder the car seat from responding to a car crash in the way it was designed and tested.

Hello, thanks for your inquiry! Yes, the every stage fx was tested by OAMTC and TCS back in 2018 and received 3 stars with a good report.

what if the vehicle doesn't have those isofix points?
Hello Rau, thanks for getting in touch. There are two installation options for group 1. One with the vehicle belt only and one utilizing the ISOFIX and anchor point. If your vehicle doesn't have ISOFIX points, then you should use the vehicle belt installation option.
Can you use both the seatbelt and isofix at the same time?
