I've created a few personas and absolutely love them; they save so much time. I even covered a song from another channel and sent it to them. They liked it so much that they posted it on their channel.

Can you clarify one thing? Can you upload of sample of your own recorded vocal singing? Will that create a "persona" artist that you can then write new lyrics and generate new songs with?
I'm sure you can. Orange Flavored Bibles was one of the first songs I did and I added it to persona's. Have a look again. There's a search feature on the top. Maybe search for the song
Hey Oregon If you're keen to share, just make the persona public and link to your Suno channel. But right now, I might want to say that with a bit of a warning. Recently, some developments have come to light as far as some people having negative impacts due to the way streaming platforms are protecting music. In this situation, some part of your song could be shared across multiple persona's because we're all trying to make awesome music together. Someone might make a song on their account and think that it's awesome. Then they could upload that song to Spotify. Once on Spotify, all the tracks you made from that persona might get a Copyright claim put against them which means you could end up having any videos or posts with your own songs taken down. This has only come to light in the last couple days.
You know... I've had this comment sitting here for a couple days and I was just going to leave it be. But I've had a change of heart. These are tools that people are using to be creative in a ways that they possibly have never been creative before. All the Suno extra's help people do that and if people are serious about it and want to get the best out of what they are doing, they pay at least the minimum subscription fee. I doubt very much that they think it is a waste of money.
A few dollars is a waste of money for getting many hours of creative fun, are you a completely broke ass homeless then yes its a waste of money go buy a feed with the few dollars you have but in today's market place of what you spend vs what you get you are so lost in value its not funny, Id much rather 10k generation tokens from Suno than a Big Mac.

Whether or not a person doesn't like one of those tools does not render the entire package useless. Addionally, currently the Persona feature is the closest thing we've got to save a voice preset without having to use another program (which, believe it or not, also costs money to do well 🤯...😜)

You can upload your own vocals and create a song from it. Then you can create a persona from that song.
I wish you could use the personas to cover songs that you've made on the platform before the feature was available.

Currently you cannot use a Persona to "cover" a song, but you can make a persona out of a song that was created before the feature was released.
