1:32 The One UI 4.5 update came to the Watch4 series on 05 Sep, before this video was posted. 3:22 The standard 4 is aluminium, and the Watch 4 Classic which you are holding is Stainless Steel. 7:08 The Sleep Coach was available for the Watch4 Series with the February update that came on the day of the S22 line Event.
I use sleep tracking on my Watch 3 Classic - I use display off by default so I have 3+ days usage. I'll be going for the 4 Classic. Thanks for the video.
I returned my watch 4 classic last year due to bad battery life. I went back to my original galaxy watch and Was holding out for the 5. My sensors stopped working on my old watch so needed an upgrade anyways, went to get the 5 and returned it today after 5 days of use. i can't stand the hideous design and no bezel, so i ended up exchanging it for the 4 classic and got my $400 refund. 5 pro is ($800Australian) 4 classic is ($400) Saved myself $400 for the exact same software and chipset PLUS a rotating bezel, it's worth sacrificing 1 extra day of battery for a much better looking watch and a rotating bezel.
I would recommend the 4 over the 5 for mostly everyone. I agree the 4 looks much better as well. I do enjoy the extra battery life myself, but my use case is very different than most
So far your recommendation are the best, I will go with the 5 pro, I need the long battery life + I know it's weird, I don't care about the rotation thing.
Great review and comparison. Thank you. I'm convinced now that I'll be getting the 5 pro instead of the 4 classic, however I've read anecdotal stories on Reddit that although it's titanium, the black finish can be easily scratched vs the grey variant is more bare metal. Any thoughts on that? Thanks again!
I don't understand why people are crazy about gw4 classic & raved about gw5pro. I have gw5 40 mm, gw5 pro and gw4 classic as well. To be honest for the looks i like 42mm gw4 classic then gw5 40 and the last gw5pro. I always wear minimalist watch. I never wanted to wear gw4 classic 46 mm because it is so big i feel like i am wearing cheap 15$ walmart watch.. i suggest people out there who want to wear gw4 classic go to size 42 version. If you want to go 46 size you should get the gw5 pro. It's no brainer. I know it don't have roating bezel but every other aspect is far superior than gw4 classic. The only scenario you should go for gw4 classic if you wanna wear 42mm version. Becasue it is sleek.
I definitely understand a lot of what you are saying here. I don't know I would go as far to say that the 5s are far superior. The upgrades as relatively minimal when looking at it from year to year. I usually just recommend going with the watch that you personally think looks better. Unless you absolutely need the battery like then I would go with the 5 pro
I much rather the galaxy 5 pro than the 4 classic. I'm glad the 5pro doesn't have the mechanical bezel. The 5 pro Digital bezel makes it more durable and reliable. The mechanical turn bezel will get dirt an such a an cause issues turning the mechanical bezel.
I still very much enjoy it. But if I didn't need the battery like I would go with the regular and not the pro. The Pixel watch is also a good choice, but that battery life is pretty bad
it’s possible disable bezel function to use it like dive watch or to track time elapse ? i mean = disable the bezel to dont go to menu when i turn or spin . I want that the bezel even rotating do not go to menu , i need to stay in pointers face to use tachymeter
There is a water mode that will help with accidental touches. Is that what you are talking about? I am also not to sure, but I do not think either one of these have a tachymeter.
@@FitnessWithFrost tachymeter in a new bezel Style. Ringke bezel! to use it, the bezel when turned dont have to go to any menu or something. if there is a way... it would be amazing
I wanna buy watch bro which one should i buy i wanna use for only for looks good or my training time dont care about apps which one should i buy even any other company but wanna b roundshape one
To be at honest if you were just looking for the best looking one. I would go with the 4 classic. The rotating bezel and overall look is just a better look in my opinion
Just bought a Watch 4 Classic. Still on WearOS 3.5 after 5 months. Not sure how big a difference that makes. Also, I've been able to get sleep tracking on my Watch 4 Classic, but I turn off AOD until I need the screen for a workout.

So you got the 4 classic, returned it, went back and got the 4 again?
I swear I thought it was Steve-O from jackass before your face was shown
Lol you're not the first one to say that
Haha! 😂

Totally understandable not needing the bezel, but I'm glad I could help

You will definitely see more scratches on the black then you will the grey. I'm glad I could help and good luck with your new band

Is it worth waiting for galaxy watch 5 price to decrease or buy galaxy watch 4 @130 USD (it was also launched at 300 bucks) in sale wifi model
The holidays are coming up and I think you will see a sale of 50$ of around that point

I never had issues myself daily driving the 4 classic, but I never really went to the beach or to dirty areas with it
Have ordered a Galaxy Watch 5 pro. It's my first smartwatch. Hope I made the right choice...
I think you will be very happy with it!

i am confused between galaxy watch 5 and 4 classic can you recommend me which looks good on my 6.3 cm wrist, and great comparison well done 🙂

No problem. Good luck with your new band
How many bluetooth range on watch 4 classic

Can’t u update the os?
Have you ever tried the ticwatch pro 3 ultra?
April 2024, and i still have no issues with my watch 4 classic. I see no reason to upgrade.
Your review has flaws! Won't recommend to anyone
3:22 galaxy watch 4 classic has stainless steel, not aluminium! Correct yourself
The body on the 4 classic is stainless steel.
That is my fault if I stated otherwise
Are they burning your wrist??
I never had any issues
My wrist looks a little weird after taking it off like it's burnt🤔
Be careful with how tight it is around the wrist
The 4 Classic is stainless steel not aluminum. The regular 4 is aluminum. If your going to do review be accurate.
i'll wait for the galaxy 6 ultra 50mm
I'm curious what they will end up doing to improve. Definitely should have a better precessor. Maybe that will lead to better battery life
@@FitnessWithFrost it will be just like smartphones.. every year it will increase in size... in 10 years you will have a phone on your wrists
They have tried that already. The only way I see that happening is if you could project the screen some other way
Correction- the 5pro is bigger however it is lighter
I don't know where you got that information but the 5 pro is 46.5 grams and the bigger 5 is 32.8 grams.
@@FitnessWithFrost you're video is comparing the 4 classic with the 5 pro!!! The 4 classic is 50g the larger pro is 46
Totally my fault. It only shows me the the comment on the app. That is my fault the 4 Classic is heavier
im gon buy me that watch naow.like NAOW. EFFING NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOWWWWWWWWWWWW
Go get it!
Same cpu same display ( very small ) not worth it
It is a good amount extra and the only real benefits are battery life and charging speed. Let them that they are pretty much the same
