Wow. I just got a Yamaha 221 II. 2,500 is what paid for it I wanted Buffett bass but I just can’t due to the 13,000 for it. I’m so glad you were able to get very nice professional bass.
I have a question relating to the bass, how tall are you? I’ve been looking at bass clarinets recently and I’m wondering what an appropriate height for this specific bass is. I’m not very tall so I worry about getting a bass that I can’t play lol.
Hey! I’m 5’3” and find the Selmer way more comfortable to play than the Buffets. I used to sit on a cushion when I played a tosca, but I actually need to use the peg for the Selmer rather than basically resting the bell on the floor

I inherited a Privlege low C, about 4 years ago. Those extra keys are a real challenge.
Michael lowenstern is my favorite bass clarinet and composer in Brooklyn and I want to see him in concert in new york city this year!

Reminds me of when I got my first bass. It was back in the middle ages before cell phone and video but the excitement was very similar!
