Locate and Repair an Irrigation Sprinkler Leak.

I discovered a wet and mushy area while mowing and figured I had a water leak. I first I thought it was the main water line to my house but realized the main water line enters the house in a different location. The only other thing it could be is my sprinkler irrigation system. I proceed to dig up the area and found a water line that had separated. After a lot more digging, I was able to remove the bad connection and replace it with another piece of irrigation pvc and a couple of couplers. My way is just one of many ways to repair a leak like this and I hope it gives someone the confidence to tackle this kind of job themselves. Good luck!

Been there, done that….:( … but I never thought to put the dirt on a tarp! Duh! The next part is VERY COOL…I used a knife too….ON MY WRIST when it didn’t go in!
